Crafts and Home Decor / Cruise, Feb 2008

Shelly Williams, Great Southern Travel in Lebanon,  is putting together a cruise.  The Carnival Conquest will sail from Galveston, TX February 17, 2008.  This 7-day cruise will sail to Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.  While at sea, classes on a multitude of different crafts will be available.  As of now, painting, altered art, knitting and scrap-booking have been set up.  One of the instructors is well known in Pulaski County and surrounding areas.  Arlene Duggan will be offering classes in painting, altered art and possibly other classes.  On a cruise we took in April she offered a scap-booking class in which she painted the pages.  It is one of a kind.  You will not be able to find anything else like it!  It was wonderful.  Laura Dubois, Stampin' Up, taught several awesome classes as did Kay Waldron from Dixon.  All the classes I took were awesome.  Most of the classes are during the day leaving time to spend with husband, friends, etc.
Prices range from 522.56 per person and up depending on the type cabin you request.  This includes taxes and fees. This also includes meals.  At least three meals a day are served and some items are available 24 hours a day.  Classes are extra.  A sign up sheet will be sent to those interested in the classes when classes are finalized.
Book by June 27 with a non-refundable $50.00 per person and receive a free scrap-book class.  Another payment will be due in September and final payment in November.  Booking now gives you a chance to make smaller payments.
Shelly is also looking for interested parties in teaching classes on this cruise.  If you are interested or know someone that may be contact Shelly.
She can be reached at 1-800-810-8610 or emailed at for more information

Outback Island has a new Ultra Bronze tanning bed that is awesome.  It is an 18 minute bed.  I tanned well after the first use.  Check it out!
