I sincerely hope Obama is not re-elected.  He wil ltake this country down th etubes with his version of european socialism.  He has purposely blocked new businesses from developing as he makes it very much cost prohibitive with his additional regulations.  So just waht did he accomplish?  He got us (again) the AA credit rating.  He added $6 trillion to the debt.  BTW all previous presidents COMBINED added up the $10 trillion debt.  So he is on a fast track to bankrupt this country even more.  A RECORD 47 Million on Foodstamps.  Now that is something to really be proud of.  Of course the unemployment % is skewed.  They don't count ALL those unemployed and they do count new jobs like McDonalds as if that kind of job can support one person let alone a family.  He gutted the welfare programs by taking out the work provision.  He chooses to decide which laws on the books will  be enforced and which will not (in the name of political expediency).  He is dictating through numerous illegal "executive orders" how this country is to be run.  He just claimed executive privilege for Fast and Furious and now the OIG is naming names and throwing blame without regard to his "privilege" which, in this case does not exist.  He is transparent alright.  Transparently corrupt

Obama DID NOT get rid of the work requirement. What he did do is give states more leeway on how they handle welfare in their states. Isn’t that what some you bitch about that states should have more control on how they handle things? So when they get it is Obama’s fault. In 2005 Romney was one 29 GOP governors that asked for the same thing – more expansive waivers to the work requirement.
Romney said there were numerous things in the health care bill that he liked and only named two. Which he is even now backtracking on he is already taking back what he said. If you think the poor and middle class have it tough now wait and see what happens to us if Romney gets elected.
Give a link where it a fact that Obama took 716 billion  from Medicare.  He took 716 billion in future growth no existing money has been touched.

What future growth?  We are all aware that there are fewer people in the job market contributing so there is no future growth. So, yes he has taken from the program.  And the Medicare and social security programs are NOT entitlements.  People have contributed to them for entire working lifetimes.
He has successfully taken this country into the land of NO opportunity where success is not at all rewarded.  Where profits are taken from the earners and GIVEN to the non-earners.  While I agree welfare is needed, it is not and was not intended to give generation upon generation the dole.  He is heading us toward what happened to Rome.  The dole was the downfall of Rome.
Had obama been properly vetted in the beginning, he would not have been allowed to run for office.  Known contacts with known terrorists (Bill Ayers).  That alone would disqualify any person from working anywhere else in the federal government.
His healthcare program is gutting the medicare program also.  Slowly and surely, the federal government is taking control of our lives.  Healthcare and is tax that shall not be called a tax will destroy the population with the highest tax ever levied against the American public.

I agree SS and Medicare are not entitlements.  He cut 716 billion in future growth, GOP will cut future growth as well. Read a couple CBO reports.
Two Republican senators are unveiling a Medicare rescue plan that features an accelerated transition to private health insurance for many seniors, a gradual increase in the eligibility age, and higher premiums for middle-class and upper-income retirees.

No matter who wins Medicare is trouble. If they go private can you say HMO.
As far as welfare he did what the state governors ask him to do.

the 716 billion was cut from the amount paid to the providers. what level of quality of care will they provide now?

more gov't programs need to be privatized. nake healthcare available across state lines and costs of premiums will drop. competition works!

President Obama approved a bill which allows doctors to terminate the life of a baby that survives abortion.  Now really, has Mitt Romney topped that?
....and that night as the moon crossed the mountain, one more Coyote was heard...

Speaking of Clint...
Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrous...

This happened when he was a state senator in 2002.
As an Illinois state senator, Mr. Obama said this about partial-birth abortion (inducing birth in the seventh, eighth, or ninth month of pregnancy and killing the baby after he/she is out of the womb): “That if that fetus, or child, however you want to describe it, is now outside of the mother’s womb and the doctor continues to think that it’s non-viable but there’s lets say movement or some indication that they’re not just coming out limp and dead that in fact they would then have to call in a second physician to monitor and check off and make sure that this is not a live child that could be saved?”
You can read the transcripts it is a little more complicated than the way you make out to be.
Clint- one of my favorite TV cowboys. The Duke is still number 1 in my book.
