WHITE HOUSE WANTS YOU TO RPT PEOPLE WHO OPPOSE OBAMA

THE WHITE HOUSE IS ASKING PEOPLE TO REPORT PEOPLE WHO OPPOSE OBAMA'S HEALTHCARE PLAN. THEY'RE ASKING THAT YOU REPORT PEOPLE WHO SEND OUT EMAILS OR POST ON WEB SITES AGAINST IT.

http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/Facts-Are-Stubborn-Things/

here is Obama in 2003 with his take.
http://www.breitbart.tv/obama-in-03-id-like-to-see-a-single-payer-health-care-plan/

Obama Said:

"I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care program. I see no reason why the United States of America, the wealthiest country in the history of the world, spending 14 percent of its Gross National Product on health care cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody. And that’s what Jim is talking about when he says everybody in, nobody out. A single payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. And that’s what I’d like to see. But as all of you know, we may not get there immediately. Because first we have to take back the White House, we have to take back the Senate, and we have to take back the House.”

If his plan is so good why won't Obama go on the plan?

He's already caught in the lie. States he's closed the door on raising taxes, but his people keep bringing up that the Fed will have to raise taxes to cover the health care plan.

Friggin duh! Those who aren't paying into the system (illegals, welfare, SSI, etc.) will be getting freebies and the rest of us will be footing the bill. BTW, if you or a loved one are on SSI, I honestly believe that your working family has already paid into the system to cover you.

Ever heard the phrase: Nothing is free.
How about: You can't get something for nothing.
Better still: You can't always get what you want. (Thank you Rolling Stones!)

It's not everyone reporting on everyone. It's the friggin Dems wanting to punish all those who speak out against the administration, their frivolous spending, their junk (pork) bills, their lies, and their illegal activities. Just like the MIAC and DHS docs, this one is going to bite the White House, only this time it's going to get more aggressive attention from the wrong people.

Ohhhhhhhh Mr President I'm so sorrrrry for not voting for you, and calling you an a$$ hole, and thinking everything you did these first months in office really sucked, and calling you a socialist, commie, ignorant, racist, did I already call you an A-hole yes I see I did . Well mr President you can just kiss my a$$.

I'm sure to be reported now. Cool Cool

As a general rule I take what I read with a grain of salt, especially newspapers. I have found what you don't read is important, and bascially all news networks and internet blogs are spinning the news to suit themselves. As for this topic, it is no denying it, or spinning it, it was heard around the country, since it was broadcast live from the white house.

I am sure someone here will submit to the whitehouse that I am a subversive.  Am I?  I can disagree with the government all I want and I am tired of their lies.  Hell, they haven't even read the bills they are tyring to pass and are not exactly encouraged to either.  The silent majority ain't so silent anymore is it?

Where does it say to report people. I took that as if there is a blog that spreads misinformation about the plan. I believe  most blogs are wrong. I had a person tell me that if the health plan passed that we would no longer be allowed to plant our own gardens. She got that from a blog. If it doesn't come from a major new source I don't believe it. As stated by some else I take those with grain of salt as well

Obama 'Snitch' Program Put On Notice
World Net Daily ^ | August 7, 2009 | Chelsea Schilling

A nonprofit public interest law firm is demanding that the White House withdraw a citizen "snitch" program that seeks to collect information on those who make "fishy" statements about President Obama's health care "reform."

As WND reported, the White House announced the program Aug. 4, pleading with people around the nation to forward to a White House e-mail address anything they see "about health insurance reform that seems fishy."

An attorney for Red State noted that the White House's actions may be in violation of current U.S. law:

"According to 5 U.S.C. § 552a, United States agencies, including the Executive Office of the President shall, 'maintain no record describing how any individual exercises rights guaranteed by the First Amendment unless expressly authorized by statute or by the individual about whom the record is maintained or unless pertinent to and within the scope of an authorized law enforcement activity.'"

Attorney Eric Erickson noted, "This will be the first significant time the White House has ignored the Privacy Act and may open President Obama up to litigation."

Justify the demonization of people speaking out all your little heart desires.  It will do no good at all.  After last night's entertainment in St. Louis, I suspect there will be more of the same with Chicago style beatings.  Someone is going to get seriously hurt before it is over.  The union thugs sent out by obama shows he is deathly afraid of American citizens and traditional values.

I have stated facts about nobama's healthcare scheme. many negative effects of that bill if passed, have been posted here and elsewhere. read the bill and prove the naysayers wrong.

I would love to go to dc, but I would probably be locked up in short order for daring to assert my constituitional right to free speech.

The right of free speech is gone.  Count on it.  To resist Obama is to invite beatings and beratement.  To resist Obama is racist.  He promised to send out union thugs to "engage" people not supporting his plan.  I am of the military persuasion and engage means to fight.  this shows me he is afraid of the citizens in this country as is most of congress.  One can only wonder why.

It seems I may have been turned in to somebody on President Obama's staff.

No, I am not kidding.

I have an idea why, but I'll leave it quiet for now. His staff has every right to collect information on what I print, and if somebody in the White House thinks I'm a conservative news reporter who needs to be put on a "watch list," I guess that's fine with me. I know from firsthand experience that Republicans have done that to liberal reporters for decades, and it happened to me one time years ago because of some people who thought incorrectly I was a liberal when I worked for a paper whose publisher was far away from my own views.

We'll see fairly quickly if this turns out to be something real or a minor sideshow caused by a prankster. I'm sure President Obama's staff has a lot better things to do than read the Pulaski County Daily News, unless perhaps they want to read my military coverage, in which case this could end up being a good thing.

Critter, you are correct.  CONS fits perfectly.  PROgress opposite of  CONgress.
Darrell, if you were turned in by some noxious individual and you found out, I would be interested in HOW you were notified.  I am sure the same people might have just sent mine in for perusal also.  You know how I just absolutely love Obama and his Chicago mob.

Okie and Matrsnot, I'd rather not go into many details now because I'm still trying to verify facts. It's well within the realm of possibility this is nothing I should be concerned about at all. It might even end up being helpful so there is no reason to throw stones.

My situation is different from that of a blogger. President Obama and Vice-President Biden have a long history of engaging media, and not in the military sense of that word. Somehow, I got identified as a media organization that covers President Obama and needs to be monitored. I don't yet know how that happened or what it means, but if all it means is that somebody in the White House has been designated to monitor me, they're perfectly welcome to monitor what I write, just like anybody else. I can't imagine that they find very much of what goes on in Pulaski County to be very interesting, however.

I have a guess as to what happened and how I popped up on their radar screen, but right now it is only a guess.

My guess is they will monitor me for a while and figure out they have better things to do with their time.

On the other hand, they may decide I'm a useful civilian news source about Fort Leonard Wood. You may remember the time Fort Leonard Wood sent me a copy of a letter written by a top Pentagon official commending a Fort Leonard Wood senior leader for some of his comments to me that I quoted in the Waynesville Daily Guide. That was neither the first nor the last time things like that happened, but generally I only found out about the "good newsgrams" that got sent from the Pentagon to Fort Leonard Wood officials about things they had said or done. The critical comments or complaints didn't get back to me through ordinary channels, though they did sometimes get back to me when a general or colonel pulled me aside when PAO wasn't looking and said some version of "Do you know how much trouble you got me in?"

should opposition lead to a snitchline? If the healthcare scheme was so good , it would sell itself. With nobama already breaking promises he made on the campaign trail, why should people believe the healthcare scheme is a good thing?  the sticking point is that it is not a voluntary program. if it was, the opposition to it would not be as it is.
