Title: Great 911 Dispatcher
Post by: ctmom20 on July 18, 2007, 07:50:14 PM
I just wanted to give a thumbs up to the 911 dispatcher that took my call on 4th of July. He was VERY courteous. I will just say that I have had to call 911 four times in my life. The first time the experience was fine. The second time was horrible. The lady would not let me finish a sentence. She kept butting in. I'm still not sure she knew exactly why I called 911. My second experience was horrible. I called to report an accident on Hwy. 28 near Dixon. She kept yelling at me that she needed the address. I told her there was no address in the middle of they hwy.  :-\ But this last time the male dispatcher I got was so courteous, understanding and friendly. Thank you kind soul!!  :)

I like to hear when some one does their job well!  We should all give more praise instead of just complaints.

Amen to that, people are always ready to bit your head off but never tell you thank you for your help, you've done a good job, so lets all tell someone thank you and have a great day, it makes them feel good and might make your day too.

I think it is great that you took the time to post this.  I am sure it will get back to the Dispatcher.  It is amazing how a little "thank you" can make a person feel good about the job that they do.
