  • Valor7: Actually no it is not, a dependable Revenue stream will not come on line until the 4th quarter of 2017 so 2018 budget will be up in the air, not quite sure what they will have. By 2019 budget all will be well.

  • Valor7: I could have worded that better, we talked details, options, the pros and cons of each, in  order to arrive at the best ballot language to present to the voters. Hope that makes this clearer.

  • Valor7: Yes and no. We talked details and options until we were blue in the face but I never heardbring it over, it was always the time was not right for the issue to pass. Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

Not a surprise that they ruled this way. Both Walmart and Tyson Chicken has been very large democratic contributor's for several years. I guess the corporations and their donations are worth more than allowing this class action suit to go through.

The vote was 5 conservative to 4 liberal

The court agreed unanimously that the litigation could not proceed as a class action in its current form, reversing a decision by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. They were split along 5-4 lines over whether the group presented a common claim in seeking an injunction that would have forced the retailer to change its employment practices.

Where is the news story of the X thousand male employees of WallyWorld standing in Benton with their paychecks saying.."look, you paid me more than my female counterpart...You need to adjust my paycheck and compensate my female peers....."?

I have to agree with the ruling...It would of gave every women who worked for walmart during that time a part of that suit.  Dont matter if they were infringed upon or not.  the suit does continue for the original group who said they were wronged and for others who want to step up to the plate.
