  • I would wager that maybe the decision NOT to cancel classes today hinges on them not wanting to give up Monday as day off ... that would of been the first one to go I believe..hence no three day weekend?  It is SLICK out there.. and very cold to boot

  • the last time it happened we DID catch them...  idiots that they are our mailbox is right in our front yard and the street light illuminates all of them... Mike SAW them smashing them...  when he jumped up and flung the door open they took off... they are lucky they had a headstart on him...  Police went over and saw the same group of kids near where the other boxes were bashed (happened while he was at our house and we all heard it!) and the officer supposedly asked them if they did it and they said no... gimme a freaking break...

  • From my experience catching them in the act doesnt help at least not in pulaski county.  That said ive been delivering for 21 yrs and have only seen one case of stolen mail.  They knew who did it and it was medicine.  He threw it in the woods. did it because his girlfriend broke up with him. Far as i know nothing happened to him

  • honestly what can you do unless you catch them in the act? They seem to strike late at night out here in the country.

  • The only way that I can ensure that I get my mail is to pay for PO box which I should't have to do...

  • All I know is that our Post Office has been made aware of it as has the local PD and other than the PD "taking" a report (cough cough) NOTHING has been done.  We aren't the only ones.  The last incident numerous boxes in town I might add as well as street signs were knocked over, taken or destroyed.

  • Ive worked 21 yrs with postal service and was never told to have them report it to local law enforcement.  I have talked to people who have gone to local law enforcement and have been told nothing local law eforcement can do about it
