Title: Donald Trump
Post by: shadylane on December 29, 2015, 02:37:23 AM
Donald Trump is the leading conservative candidate.
He's been divorced and bankrupt several times.
Isn't an active Christian, nor of high moral character.
He is a reality show drama queen, with raditical and unconstitutional ideas
How did he get to be the conservative leader?

He takes good care of his ex's and his children.  He pulled himself up out of financial problems, I don't know what last president was an "active" Christian.  I don't know why you would think he's not of high moral character.  I sure know alot of people around here who aren't...and they flaunt it.  His ideas are not unconstitutional and I've read the constitution.  I guess you can pick and choose.  Yes he does have radical ideas...just like most Americans who feel the same way, but have no voice.  He got to be the conservative leader because he wants what we want.  A safe country free of terrorists, a way to earn money and get ahead, and freedom from racial interference by our leaders....just for starters.

Sorry for condensing your statement. But all men are created equal.
Every country were the racial or religious majority rules has problems with terrorism
That's why the founders of our country made the statement, even though it was several more generations before it started to become true.

Some folks likes the words he says, some don't.
What are the odds of him doing what he says, it he wins?
In my opinion, he's the classic example of a loose canon.
There's no telling what damage or good he could do.

true, but he is a business man and you have to do what you promise or you are done. Trump also has a reputation for having smart people around him. My favorite is Ted, but I would not hesitate to vote for trump

I'm beginning to like Trump after the last GOP debate

Looks like the GOP has a loose cannon on the gun deck.
Trump is damaging all their candidates, when he's done, he might run as an independent and steal enough votes from the Repub's to get Hillary into office.

Trump also has a reputation for having smart people around him.

Trump is a very intelligent man and recruits the best help he can find.
That would explain why he's destroying the rest of the GOP candidates at the polls.
Personally, I think he's a progressive Trojan horse.
Here's a thought.
He wins the GOP nomination by talking ultra conservative BS
Then wins the election by backstabbing the conservatives to the democrats delight.
Don't forget, Like many of us, Thrump got hammered financially by GW Bush's mistakes.

we'll see. He knows how to build, he knows how to get things done. If he is the nominee, I have no problem voting for him. I prefer Cruz, but it looks more and more that Trump will get the nomination.

Thrump will probably destroy Cruz.
If he can't beat Cruz outright, he can claim Cruz is ineligible to be president
Because he was born in Canada. The election might be over before Cruz can prove he is eligible. Don't forget the supreme court only has 8 members and the GOP refuses to let OBAMA fill the empty seat.  :th_thwhistling:

It's already proven Cruz is eligible. Trump knows how to create doubt though. Rubio is in his sights also. Trump said he would consider Cruz for the vp slot. he wouldn't say that if he doubted his eligibility. The GOP is doing exactly what the dems did, Schumer, Biden, Obama, etc...

Many of Cruz's supporters are the same people who said Obama wasn't eligible if he hadn't been born in the USA.

Cruz is eligible. nobama has had a cloud over his eligibility his entire term. he could have settled the matter but wouldn't, I wonder why?. Pelosi didn't have him fill out the affidavit properly. it will all come out after he leaves office.

Are you saying Obama was ineligible because his mother might have given birth to him in Kenya?
