Local News / Re: What did Vicky Hartzler write on Facebook today?
« on: November 14, 2010, 01:08:57 PM »
I was at a bible study last night with a bunch of pure Republicans. I am a Democrat. But they we all very angry about the Vicky Hartzler vote which surprised me. But one is worried about the fate of her job as an nurse on the fort, one has a husband who works with this friend on the fort, and the other is a college student, plus others who dont vote yet. But we are also worried about the fate of Whiteman. I personally have friends who work at Whiteman and we are worried about it's fate. We all we're laughing at her stupidity about the whole "Why dont we have a naval base", and we came to the came to the same conclusion. Lake of the Ozarks is going to be the next naval base. LOL

The Bible teaches tolerance, and this is not tolerance. I say he needs to go back to pastor 101 and get a new religion maybe if he's not going to teach tolerance. The book of Jude is the prime book in the Bible to read about tolerance.

My brother was at the Rodeo that night and came home and told us about what happened. He says it happened alittle before the kid was trampled by the bull if anyone remembers what time that was. He remembers it that ways because all of the ambulances were over at the accident and there were no ambulances at the rodeo to help the bull rider. I wasnt there and I dont know all the specifics but I am just going by what my brother told me.

AJ Was suppost to graduate with me in school, I cant remember if he did. Robbie graduated with my brother in 09. Stephen got a text saying that it was CO2 poisoning. But we cant know that for sure. Robbie was in FFA with my brother, Stephen. AJ was a good kid for the most part and I gasped when I heard the KOLR 10 news tonight and heard those two names. My prayers go out for both families.

To you church goers: Did you enjoy sitting in church, being bored out of your minds (and don't tell me you weren't!), wearing uncomfortable clothes, listening to some preacher tell you how to live your life, and paying for him to tell you that? I'll continue keeping my money in my own pocket, and sleeping in on Sundays, then relaxing in comfortable clothes and barefoot while home.  &&*)(*^(& :":":
Actually I did enjoy my pastors sermon this morning. And no, I didnt wear uncomfortable clothes. Yes I do give what I can to my church and other good charities. I believe that all people should live the cleanest life they can. Am I without sin? No. Will you see me in a bar on occation? Yes. Am I drinker? Yes. Am I breaking the commandments? Not nessesarly. All things in exsess. (yes my spelling is bad tonight) Do I let a few swears out if I injury myself? Yes. Am I going to heaven? I believe I am because of what I do for my fellow man and how I try best to live my life. merrywhiterose, I believe you would have been stoner in the day. (someone who throws stones at another person because they had broken a law.) But he without sin through the first rock.

I LOVED those Mark, thanks for sharing.

No I guess not but I dont see you up in arms about the OTHER soldiers that were MIA. I guess all I'm saying is if Obama said something about every little thing that goes on with the war (not saying that a captured soldier is little) but he'd be out of breath and it'll take him days to say atleast a paragraph about every dead soldier.

It's the weekend for jimminy cricket. And a beautiful one at that, give the boy awhile to respond. He's probably thinking it over at Camp David or something. I am really getting tired of all the obama bashing. I quess I could not open these things but some of your veiws are so funny it hurts.

That was nice. But you could tell that the Queen was getting tired of smiling (or didnt like some of the people she was with) in some of the pics. My opinion only not to offend anyone.

I kinda agree with Maynard and Taz. I wasnt the biggest MJ fan. I try to avoid anything that has to do with him.

I heard about this about a month ago. While I was on the stres unit there were a bunch of GIs that tried to commit suicide because their Drill sargent was rougher than the other drill sargents and was too hard. I just thought that they were wimps, but I guess now that there is truth behind it....

Local News / Re: spankings
« on: February 20, 2009, 10:27:11 PM »
There is a thin line between abuse and spanking now a days. But I still believe that it's ok and when I have children I will allow them to be spanked and I will spank my child if they mess up in a manner that I deam fit for a spanking. I dont believe that TEACHERS should spank, principles and superintanants yes.

« on: February 20, 2009, 06:17:43 PM »
I was pattled when I was a kid and if we said that it didnt hurt then they would do it harder. The switch, now that is a fun one. No I do not have kids, I've worked with kid where yes they needed to be spanked. Parents arent taking punishment stong enough. I've never been grounded because I learned from the switch and the spankings. Oh and also being ran up a tree, but thats a different story.

« on: February 13, 2009, 07:50:43 PM »
I heard about this last night. It's crazy. I think the kid needs to go to jail, not just bargain out. He murdered two people, and at the age of nine they know what's right and whats wrong.
