City Government Opinion / Re: CROCKER SCHOOL
« on: October 26, 2009, 03:34:20 AM »

In't it sad for school officials to actually sauy that to ANY student.. And yes.. A high School diploma is extremely important... :fight:

My brother in law went to Job Corp down in Puxico, MO. He should have graduated from Crocker two years ago, but instead went to job corps because the school system in Crocker was not good at all back then. It sounds like it isn't much better now. He enjoyed the job corp experience. He went for bricklaying and painting and drywalling and he got to come back home a year after he left.

hopefully someone lets people know when it gets caught. I would hate to see it when I'm with my kids coming toward me, but it honestly doesn't surprise me at all.

I was very surprised to see Kris win, but honestly I was happy because I think Adam would do better in a band instead of just a solo artist

I think that Adam did a good job tuesday and am glad to see him stay. It sux that
Allison had to go home, but I honestly figured she would with the way she reacted to Simon. I think that she did right for everything that was being said, but I just got this weird feeling that that would make her be the one to go home.

I voted twice as much this week for Adam than I usually do, just to play it safe and I was completely shocked when he was in the bottom three. I didn't think he would go home, but was really scared for a minute. I'm not so sure anymore if he will win or not. I hope he does, but we will see. Next week being rock week I think Adam and Allison might have a decent chance over the others. Time will tell.

I believe that it was Scott's time to go. He didn't do as well as some of the other competition. But best of luck to him!! Go Adam!!

As in seasons past, dont ever assume someone is safe no matter how good they are.
I meant at least his place isn't being threatened yet. Hopefully, not any time soon.

I was kinda hoping that Scott would go home last night, but yet again no. I couldn't believe that Matt was in the bottom three I thought that he did pretty well. I'm just glad that Adam is still there and his place isn't being threated.

I agree with you. I think Adam did really well. At first I didn't know what to think of his version of Ring of Fire, but the more I heard it the more I liked it.

this is very horrible. I don't understand how these people can live with themselves. I know they might not see it as wrong, but they were living on meth. The court systems should do to all them the same thing that they did to that baby.

I can't say who my favorites are just yet. I want to at least let them get down to the live shows. I think they start in a couple of weeks. I have some that I enjoy. I like Danny Gokey also and his friend. I was very happy to see bikini girl go. I also wish that that girl who laughs weird would leave. But, we'll see.

I never would have pinned him for doing something like this though. But it is hard times, and some people are doing what they think they have to to get by.

Sorry to throw you off cowboy, but people were commenting on cars among the other things, and if you don't like to read about what I write, then you don't have to log on and look around. I'm sure nobody would miss your negative attitude.

Restaurant Opinion / Re: McDonalds(again)
« on: January 17, 2009, 11:25:47 AM »
I did my daughter's birthday party on November 1st at the Waynesville McDonald's. She had a conjoined party with 2 of her cousins. When I made the reservation (a month in advance) the lady on the phone (don't remember her name, sorry) said about how much the cost would be, that we would have 3 helpers because it would be such a large party and the majority of the play area to ourselves. Now, I didn't mind others that were not family being in there, it was just that our party was so big, that some of our guests had to stand. On top of that, our help that we got with the party, was a total of one girl and she took off at 2 p.m. (the party started at 1:30 p.m.) and they didn't give us any more help. Me and my sister had to clean the whole play area up and continually go to the front and get supplies and bring them back. We went to the front and complained and they told us that there was nothing that they could do about any of our problems. We were pretty upset at everything that had happened, and asked about getting all the happy meals for free and at least a small discount. They did give us the meals for free and then took I think $20 off the cost. All in all I was just dissapointed in the service and probably won't go there again.
