If I'm ever in the St Loius area I will give it a try. Mama Mia's are okay but the sauce was a little to garlicy and spicy. But I guess it'll have to do. I sure will miss Stefano's!

He made the best Gyros, that's all I ever ate when I went there. We normally ate there about 2 times a month. I don't know where I'm going to get another Gyro as good as his!

Anyone know what happened to Stefano's? We went there last Friday night and it was closed. Tried again tonight and it's not only closed but the signs are gone and the place is empty! This was one of my favorite places to eat. We were there a few weeks ago and he never said anything about closing.....UGH!!

They are thick and full.  Each "lash" is actually a plug with 4 lashes on it and each plug is glued onto the base of your own lashes with surgical glue.  They aren't so long that they are bothersome, but a little bit longer than my real ones, and 4x fuller.  Very natural looking.  The lady who did it was finished in about 5 minutes.  I tried to take pictures, but it didn't work out, but let me be honest, I'm SO HAPPY the way they look.  If you be careful (don't scrub your eyes with a washcloth) they should last up to 3 weeks.

Maynard...I think my husband meant Cleopatra as played by Liz Taylor (lol).
That's cool, did you get them put on without any makeup on?

So how are the lashes? Did they glue them on one by one? Are they thick and full or just long?

I'm sure it is! I have a tanning bed at home too, just isn't as satisfying as going to the salon for some reason lol. Probably because when I go to the salon, I don't have a 5yr old banging on the door!

Just thought I would let everyone know that there is a new tanning salon opened in the old Tanning Spa place. I have been there and it has been remodeled and it is very nice and clean. Great tanning beds and super nice people.

I can see being upset with your order not being right but to gripe about a delivery driver not giving you your 4 cents back.  FTLOG...  did you ever think that maybe he didn't even have 4 pennies to give back to you?  One of our sayings that we raised our now adult children with... "choose your battles, this isn't one of them..."  I could go on and on.. but this just comes off sounding ever so petty...

It wasn't 4 pennies.

I have heard through the "rumor mill" that the contractor that did the remodel never got paid for the job. Don't know if there is any truth to it, but that is what is being said.

Just heard the story again on KY3, they are reporting that the second time the deputy had to fire he was fatally wounded. Also the deputy that fired the shot is on administrative leave , which is standard policy.

The suspect, who was wounded fatally, was identified as Darryl L. Eye. It was discovered that Eye had in his possession a hand gun, containing spent shell casings.
On November 21, 2011, an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. The investigation of the shooting is ongoing by the Missouri State Highway Patrolís Division of Drug and Crime Control.

Doesn't the first sentence answer what the cause of death was??

JB made a brief mention of this in his column but said he was letting the MSHP handle the press.  Guess we know why now.

That's what I was about to say. He said he was wanted in Texas county.
