Military Opinion / Information Needed
« on: October 20, 2009, 09:40:03 PM »
I hit a dead end on the phone calls to post so am turning to our great group!  I am looking for contact information for the Fort Wood Community Spouses Club.  They are the group that sponsors the annual craft show.  Their website is down and the only phone number I could get for the show was a past coordinator who has since left the area and she did not know who took over.  Thanks in advance!!

Gardening / Freeze Tonight
« on: October 17, 2009, 06:16:28 PM »
Weather Service is predicting 30 for a low tonight.  Everyone make sure to protect those tender plants.  If you live in a cold microclimate area plan for a hard freeze and get the last of your warm weather crops picked and protected.
Good luck and let's start looking for spring!   ;D

Has anybody started planning or giving thought to their garden for next year yet?  I have already received 4 seed catalogs.  Best part is that 2 of them are the ones I get most all my supplies from.  Dreaming of Spring already. lol

Well folks the gardening season is about finished after last night.  Hope everyone got word of the freeze warning.  We were out of town and away from the computer so I didn't get it posted like we did last year.  I was not ready.  Hate to see the damage when the sun comes up.  :o
