Robbery Leaves Elderly Man Critically Injured

An 82 year old man is in critical condition after he was robbed at his home on Highway-T, near the community of Swedeborg. The victim was discovered by Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputies following his vehicle being found abandoned on a private farm near the Gasconade River. Upon investigating the incident, deputies discovered that the registered owner was a disabled citizen, which prompted a welfare check at the man’s residence.

Upon arriving at the registered owner’s home, deputies discovered the victim lying in the floor, severely injured. The victim was immediately flown to a trauma center, where he is listed in critical condition. The ensuring investigation revealed that numerous items had been stolen from the house.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department has identified several persons of interest but is still seeking the community’s assistance in solving this case. If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department at 573-774-6196, or the anonymous Tip-Line at 573-774-7948.

Since he is the one driving he can make the decision  who or who doesn't go in his car. Just my opinion but I say leave the minor girls behind.

I agree  !!

I don't know the percentage, but he is right.  There are too many lazy undeserving moochers depending on my tax dollars to support them.  We do not include, disabled veterans, retired senior citizens, handicapped in that group.  I am talking about the group of people who are able to work and choose not to because they don't have to.

Off topic of tow company but I wonder what state patrol was trying to pull him over in the first place. Why run if you are not doing anything wrong. On the other hand glad you made him own up to his mistake.

I have known Kenny and family since he was a child and it is heartbreaking what drugs and alcohol have done to him. I would never have expected him to turn into a thief. It is obvious by the photo that he has taken a definite wrong turn in life. To Kenny .... Get the help you need to get off the drugs and get a job. Time to get on the right path, its never too late. Erika instead of being in denial I hope you can give him the support he will need to get off drugs.

I guess you have lived a perfect life, Pete?  Never made any choices in your past that you might look back on today & say "eh, maybe that wasn't the BEST choice in hindsight".

Everyone has a past.  Everyone makes choices.  Responsible people move beyond their past and make better choices for themselves.
I think judgement is reserved for One much higher than anyone on this board.
Well said!!

Business Opinion / Re: What would you do?
« on: April 26, 2012, 05:40:37 PM »
HI suggestion is what i would tell you to do except for one difference, have your daughter do it since it is her pay(i figure that is what you mean), but just putting it out there.  My kids always ask me for advice about things and ask me to make callls for them and i have to tell them i cant. that they have to do it, its there business and as they are adults its up to them to take the lead.

GREAT ADVICE!!
