Local News / Re: Man drowns on Big Piney River in Pulaski County

we floated right up on that situation. pretty awful. i'm so grateful that I have friends that would've done everything they could to save me. such a needless death.

I've always wondered that myself. And with the large number of soldiers they come in contact with, they should get yearly flu shots as well. They're sooooo concerned with people getting sick and calling in, it would just make sense that they offer a way to keep their employees from getting sick in the first place.

And whatever happened to the charges against these people. There is one person in particular I really would like to see justice come to since the stupid old prosecutor TOTALLY DROPPED THE BALL on the guy's assault against me. everytime i look him up on casenet, nothing changes.

I think edp needs to make sure all employees are properly vaccinated ! Tb and hep b are very contagious in the food service industry..... these are our soldiers we are feeding! I only bring this up because i was reading the log and someone made a statement about druggies and disease....wonder how many edp employees are really properly vaccinated

Does anyone know of a minister that is not affiliated with a church who will do weddings?

Its nothing big. Just need someone to help my fiance and I recite our vows and then sign the marriage certificate.

So I called a month ago and reserved the side room for my son's first birthday. I had about 25 people coming. I called yesterday to order the pizza's so they'd be ready and was told they didn't have a reservation for us.  :th_tha3ab577b-1:

I said, "You mean to tell me that my reservation i made a month ago is no where to be found?! I HAVE A ONE YEAR OLD'S BIRTHDAY PARTY AND 25 PEOPLE COMING!!!" To which I was asked if I'd placed an order. NO ONE TOLD ME I NEEDED TO PLACE AN ORDER AT TIME OF RESERVATION. I was PISSED.  :anger:

We ended up having it at our apartment and it went well. But I know of 25 people who said they certainly won't be visiting that establishment again.

WAY TO GO PIZZA HUT. And thanks goes to my fiance who suggested I call first and order the pizzas instead of just showing up. I'm sure it wouldn't have turned out to be a very pretty confrontation.  *****

Oh, and THANK YOU TO PERCY AT TK'S PIZZA WHO BAILED US OUT ON THE PIZZA ORDER! The cost of their 4 king sized pizzas was far less than what it probably would've cost us for 8 larges at pizza hut. And everyone loved the pizza.

My fiance is calling the district manager's office monday. I'm sure it won't matter and NO we DONT want thier FREE coupons. That would mean having to order through St. Robert again.

They are also moving into a bigger building, the old MOCA building I believe, in December. It will have showers and much more room so people don't feel so claustraphobic.
