NOT A RUMOR ANYMORE....IT WAS AN ON DUTY POLICE OFFICER...JUSTICE IN A CIVIL SUIT FOR THE FAMILY BUT NOT JUSTICE FOR THE CRIME OR THE COVER UP!!! THIS DISGUSTS ME!! Just read about it in court documents...we need honest police officers!!  :th_police:  by reading of court documents Chief Carter was NOT the person to speak to...such an absolute shame!

It's horrible that people will falsely accuse someone of something they didnt do and I know that people do it just to get revenge on someone because things didnt go their way! Problem is law and they have to do their jobs and how in the hell do you prove otherwise when its one's word against the others? Reputation is about the only option and can say that each and every person is responsible for their own reputations so lets hope this helps this young man! God have mercy on people who like to "game" play or tell lies just for their own alterier motives!! Have had this done to me by a so called friend but she additmately admitted she wasn't just game playing she was the coach and had alterior motives! Just done it at my expense and used someone else to do it! So pathetic!

Not sure about this case but can say from experience that you can KNOW someone and trust them and they be your friend and absolutely turn around and STAB you in the back and then some for their own personal gain! Trust me, I have been through it and was mortified to realize they were like this at all because I thought I knew them!

I can remember walking thru the high school gym with a belt in my hand looking for my daughter during a basketball game!! You should have seen peoples faces... but I didnt care! Principal even stopped me and asked what I was doing, I told him I came up there to get my daughter and spank her ACE because she was doing something I told her NOT to do! Found her, spanked her and spanked her again when I got home!
So many kids do NOT have respect for their parents at all and then you have parents who think their kids do NO wrong! Its sickening! I got spanked with switches, belts and electric cords! I didnt die! I wasnt abused and I grew up with the fear of God and my Father!

so very sad! Thinking of her family. Cant believe how fast a life can be wiped out in just a matter of seconds, I just dont understand it. May she RIP.

I cant believe you are still on here running your mouth!! Its pretty sad that the child has to get on here and tell you to do so!! Get on your own thread and stay out of all the others!! This is embarrasing to say the least to have a child get on here and tell grown ups to SHUT UP!!

Have to agree with you too Cricket and Coyote! I know it is a distraction when your on the road trying to drive and you see all the stuff laying out there around a cross but I like you 'Cricket could not handle seeing a cross where your son lost his life. It is a constant reminder of what happened and it goes over and over in your head. you dont need a cross or whatever cause just driving by it you still remember. I love the song" three wooden crosses" by Randy Travis just seems wrong to mark the place where they died. They dont any other places so why along side the highway? I would rather find something positive to do in remembrance of the loved one not a reminder like that. JMO! Dont need arguements or fights started out of it.

Coyote for once I totally agree with you. I do not think people should be allowed to put up crosses, flowers and etc. My son died 8 years ago in a car crash and I remember his grandma was headed to the crash scene to put up a cross and flowers, till I threw a fit. I sure the hell did not need to be reminded where he died I drive by it 6 times a day, and will never forget, so why keep a constant reminder.

It is TRAGIC that all these lives were taken in this accident. HOWEVER, I know from seeing others and family members who have lost loved ones and I DO NOT CARE WHO YOU ARE!!! ARE going to blame the one responsible. Kids nowadays do not care and take no responsibility. Neither do drunks! They drive reckless, text on their cell phones whatever!
If racing fuel and high speeds were to blame and I have NO clue but from what I am reading...then that was and is lack of responsibility and he knowingly got into that vechicle and drove it on a public road and therefore used it as a weapon in the death of the others involved. End of story!
Had I have been on that road with my grandson in my car and we were hit and him killed in the process I would pray for the soul of the one who done it cause I would be after them with a vengence and make sure they lived the rest of their lives with it! you ALL know very well that you would feel the same way!! Accidents HAPPEN! YES THEY DO....but to be neglegent, careless and irresponsible is NOT AN ACCIDENT. I drive as safe and responsible as I can when I am in my car mostly looking out for the other person and I dont know how many times I have almost gotten hit from another car because they were on a cell phone texting and you could see they were, or whatever else they were doing. In a split second it can happen but to be so irresponsible and because of your name or who you are or the fact they died does not excuse the truth of what happened!! Just like the drunk man who hit the coach/teacher on the bike...since no one really KNEW his name he got reemed just like he should have for doing what he did and being so irresponsible! The "person" to blame was told so and even in court he was told so! Because he wasnt killed? Had he have been killed would you have felt differently for his lack of judgement for being drunk for the hundreth time only this time he killed a well known individual? Seriously! Whats right is right and whats wrong is wrong doesnt matter who you are.
Sorry for ALL families involved and my heart and prayers go out to them for I know any loss is hard no matter who is at fault! I feel for them and their losses.
But, stop sugar coating folks! Just be real!  If your going to talk about it, talk about it. Otherwise leave it alone. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Regardless... It is what it is. I am so sick of reading posts where you know people want to say something but they beat around the bush about it. It is what it is no matter what. Best you can do IS TALK ABOUT IT AND THE TRUTH AND PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. TEACH AND LEARN FROM IT. Only good thing that can come out of ANY tragedy.  (off my rant)

I did! When I was 24! It was a high profile and we were susqencered (how ever the hell you spell it cause i just got up!) and was on it for 2 weeks and I finally went home! I had a one year old at home with a 3 year old and couldnt take not talking to them or knowing myself how well they were being taken care of cause I was not allowed to call or see them or watch tv or read books yada yada. Now I would love to serve on em now but havent since that time.

I just can't even imagine! Just reading the accident report and then seeing it I cant even imagine what the poor victims went thru let alone their families. Such a horrible tragedy and probably could have been avoided. Im sorry but cars are dangerous and you have to pay attention ALL the time not just to yourself but other drivers. So sad this happened to them especially around the holidays.
EVERYONE  TAKE YOUR TIME, SLOW DOWN AND PAY ATTENTION AT ALL TIMES. Dont text, play with the radio/CD player, talk on the phone or drink while driving. I have seen woman putting on make up while driving! One split second and I mean literally a split second devistation can happen to any of us.
Prayers go out to the families.

Well I have to say I have seen it happen time and time again with many women! I myself tolerated mental, verbal and emotional abuse and I have no excuse except to say I believed in my vows and stood by em. I wish now I would have left sooner because my kids now treat me with the same respect their father did! I however, NEVER was hit! Im so sorry...but if he would have EVER hit me I would do just like my nanna did my papa...wrapped those sheets around him and beat him with a cast iron skillet! He would remember me the next day and NOT attempt to do it again! (now a days the women would get thrown in jail for doing it back! But...I would make dang sure he would be too embarrassed to go tell anyone but be dang scared to "pass out" or fall asleep in my presence!  It worked for my nanna by golly! I think the men who do that are wimps anyway!  Gonna take me a LOOOOONGGGGGG time before I ever trust a man again just from what I experienced. I think a lot of what we see now has so much to do with drugs and alcohol its unreal! Stupid people is all I can say, there is NO security in a relationship like that!
AND YES MAYNARD THEY KEEP ME BUSY! LOL Gonna miss the pumpkin patch till next year liking that it has calmed down now. I was wore out!! I love it out here on the farm! They are good roomies too!

No kidding! And why even give her bond? Leave her in jail! Look at all the charges! Why isnt she already in prison? Seriously! Others read this and think CRAAAPPP, Dude we can do it a hundrend million times before anything really happens dude! ????????????

2 bucks for the halloween bash is a steal :) U get candy, hot dogs and soda, and a hayride! We love it!

I love it too! I have went the last 2 years and I think its worth it to!
I love what they are doing out here at Happy Hollows and your right Taz and the others, it doesn't matter what you do someone is going to complain and you can't please everyone but sure do love it when people leave happy! that is whats its all about! Probie and Cricket and all the others have really worked hard and they do everyday on top of their jobs and it is wonderful to see others enjoy it and leave happy. I know it will just get better and better and what a wonderful tradition to start with your family! Im sure Happy Hollows will appreciate the kind words as well.

Oh MY! We had one yesterday...she didn't want to leave now! I am not kidding! She was screaming at the top of her lungs and yelling she didn't want to go home she wanted to stay! She was looking at poor Cricket and letting her and I know all the while kicking and screaming while her mom was trying to hold her!! I knew them and laughed my behind off! I told her she would have to get on the FB page and post her pics and let everyone know how much they loved it and she hollered back, "Im gonna take a video of her and let everyone know what it does to our kids!!" ROFLMBO! I just about died! I am having a blast, very hard work, but having a blast! And them kids are too and so are the parents bringing them! I see it everyday and its a wonderful site! Not sure who complained but doesn't affect the joy we see coming out of here everyday! and it will only get better and better each year! Love it.

I heard tonight that on another forum that people were complaining about the price? I do not own the patch or am a partner or anything. I do help out there and can say that there is a lot of work that goes into it and a lot of time. However, $6.00 per child to go in and stay and have fun with all the activities and then hayride to the pumpkin patch to 'pick their own pumpkin, no matter what the size and most go for the little ones I dont know why but they like em" is NOT high compared to what we pay for theme parks, movies or even ballgames. I think its a great price for whats included and we have to remember that. If you also go to wal-mart and price a pumpkin they are 3.98 - 5.98 each. some places charge per pound. So really they are getting into the other activities for two dollars! I don't make a lot of money at all but I would pay to take my child there for "child" fun for that price and for the occasion. But, for the great comments and replies they are getting on their FB page I don't think everyone who came would end up leaving happy and I think its that way anywhere you go? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Im sure it would be appreciated by the owners if people gave their input on what they could do to make it better or suggestions for them being its their first year.  This way they can make it even better next year and the year after that and so forth.

If you get the time, come on out and bring your kids and give it a chance and have some fun. Read their FB page and leave suggestions as well! They are great people who are only looking to make something of a family owned farm that is enjoyable for "families". They have always been about this growing up with their boys and only want to have something for the communities to share with their kids. Im sure they would appreciate your input rather good or bad as it helps them either way. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to come out! I sure am enjoying it and watching the kids have fun.

I wonder why Darrell Maurina hasn't done a story on it yet? Its a new local business in the area. Especially if KY3 did one all the way from Springfield? AND.... lets get back to the PUMPKIN PATCH PLEASE...thats what this topic was about...anyone have any comments on their trip there and any photos to share? I love reading the comments on their FB page and seeing the photos. Everybody seems to love it! I am so happy for them and I like working out at the patch!

I guess it would have been about 4 years ago last time I really talked to him because him and his mother bought my red camaro for Matt's younger brother. And his girlfriend was pregnant then (I think)

Yes his son with the mom is about a year and a half old maybe 2? then she has 2 other kids oldest being 4 with her ex husband. But Matt had been playing daddy to them since they were babies so for him to say that shows what type of man he is! Any other man married to the mother would have said Yes and maybe add the fact that one was his biological child!! Ever since I have known him he acts like Mr. Tough man and does nothing but boss people around and act like his crap don't stink! He always hit on her and the other 2 kids but never his own son! He was even trying to get the baby to beat up on the older brother and told the older brother and I quote, " I'm going to teach him how to beat your ass when he gets old enough to understand!" and the mom had to tell him no he wasn't because that was his brother!! He is a piece of work thats for sure! And Im not talking beating his own child but he wouldn't even whip him and his son done NO wrong. He was teaching him to be mean! I can't even talk about it anymore, sorry. It just upsets me so bad and just disgusts me!

Pulaski County Sheriff Press Releases / Re: PCSD- Missing Person Case
« on: October 15, 2011, 02:41:41 AM »
so very sad!! I was hoping she just needed to get away or something. Praying for her family.

and I understand a mother's love for her its obvious she will come to his defense. However, I KNOW this child and I also KNOW they separated her from her mother to investigate and two trained personnel from two different agencies both agreed it happened as well as the report from the hospital! The child is 4 yrs old! They know how to tell if she was "coached" or not! So PLEASE! spare us this insult to this child and the qualified individuals who done the investigation. You can't just accuse someone! You have to have proof and apparently they have it or he wouldn't be sitting in jail! I will say nothing further about this, it will come out in his trial to which he is entitled to! I just pray for the child who has to endure a trial and what all of this is going to do to her!! SHE is what matters in all of this!!

Trena, stepchild is all I can say. It is so sad and breaks my heart. I'm crying just knowing they finally got him! I was waiting and waiting. But...they wouldn't arrest and hold bond if they didn't have proof and cause and I am so glad they did take their time to dot their I's and cross their T's! This child needs it! And...the mother reacted to it well as far as how she handled soon as she had suspicion she went straight to the hospital and didn't even speak to her child about it! She let the hospital handle it and the investigators as well. She was an absolute livid basket case when she called but she stayed level headed during ALL of it. I think me and my daughter had the hard time of holding it together to stay strong for her! I literally threw up it upset me so bad! She has came to us without the child and broke down and boy was that hard! And as you well know she blames herself for not knowing and thinking she is a bad mom for not seeing it but I think anyone who has been thru this would blame themselves but she didn't do it HE DID!!

It DOES NOT BLOW MINE!! I have known about this for awhile and have had to keep quiet as he is allowed due process! However, when he beats on these kids and his wife it didnt surprise me he was capable of this! It has been an ongoing investigation and has been horrific on his soon to be ex and this child!! Makes me sick!! All I have done is cry over it and hope that justice is served!! I have NEVER mentioned his name on here but mentioned an incident when he pulled a gun on them. Check probably surprise you as well! I have NEVER hated someone in my life not like I do him! He will get justice, especially when he serves time, the other prisoners don't take kindly to "things" like him! And if certain people want to threaten "slander" best look up the definition! Can slander when its truth! Please pray for the wife and the child they truly need them as they have had a hard time and no family support! She is like a sister to my daughter and a great friend of mine and we have done our best to help but I am living with others and can't help like I wish I could!
