From my recolection there was a crime that allegedly occured there years ago, at the same time that there were busts at other similar type businesses, and all places involved at that time were placed off limits. Before that time businnesses like hers had cabs lined up in front of them..

It's been refered to as a massage parlor.

umm... just to clarify..  what exactly goes on at Daisy's that makes it off-limits??

When people run out of ammunition they must improvise JB..

Just one of the reasons to have take home cars just like every other sheriff's department in the state of Missouri. I find it odd that 114 Missouri sheriff's have the same view on this issue but we still have doubts on here.

Being a moderator is like operating a thermostat.

Kari are you trying to ruin his image as Dis and a troll.
I 'm sure you don't remember but when Winston/what_the? started getting good Karma after he started a book club he got so upset he left the board.
And we were all lost for a while with an antagonist and it took a while before some one came along to fire us up again and have someone to hate or at the least be pissed off at........... I am so happy Winston is back and Pre4 is a good one to to keep us pissed and if they start getting good karma or reps it could possibly cause them to mellow out...and that would be a bad thing.
This also takes the pressure off Rick so he doesn't have to come up with crap to get the fires burning and the board moving again.
Just one more thing Winston is a really sweet fellow and has a super sweet wife
Gotcha Winston.

I know one of the guys who saw it, he said it had metallic bendable material, and there were 3 aliens but one died in the crash. The other two have been shipped off to Area 151 to help back engineer their craft. There were also structural beams found in the crash debris, that had hieroglyphic symbols on it, really weird alien sort of stuff. I swear..

Weather balloon? Sure. I almost believed that. It must be aliens. That is the excuse they always use for aliens. J/K

Thanks for the info DTM.

I called FLW's public affairs office about noon and Mike Alley, their chief of external communications, knew nothing about the post being locked down. He got back to me later in the afternoon with the following message: "An off-duty Soldier found a weather balloon and turned it in Sunday. No one knew what it was, so EOD was notified."

Hope that answers the questions.

If you remember, a little bit ago, Oct 30th, we had some emails between us...in them, I said I looked for paid memberships..wanting to help support your website, but only found the information for ads!  You have prE4chEr to thank for mentioning a "supporter badge" which made me look all over again!

My only complaint, about this website, I keep coming back to my laptop to see what new postings there may be!  Ugh, difficult to get work done! lol

Thanks, Kari.. What may be the best permission is the ability to read what was deleted and sent to the recycle bin. I am shocked the inquisitive maynard never went for that. Welcome and congrats on your doctorate.

$100.00 per year to help support this site is not bad at all, and I believe well worth it!  I do believe I will do my share and help support this site!!
I come from a LONG line of, very, opinionated people.  Fortunately, for the most part, we (my bothers and I) were encouraged to develop our individuality, our own thought, opinions and to voice them.  I continued this with my own children, and we are well known for our "family meetings".  Even as young children, during a "family meeting", they were able to voice whatever they felt the need to, in whatever manner they so desired.  Once the meeting was over, then they had to abide by our everyday "I'm the Parent, you are the child, watch your tone of speech".  We all had the "right" to call a family meeting.  The meeting would not end until, whatever the issue was, had been resolved.  Sometimes the Parent won, sometimes the kids won the "argument/discussion".  To this day, we still have family meetings, when the need arises!  Works great for us.

PS: I can't find where to sign up to support the website.
PSS: Found it!

Not offended, just pointing out that the 25,000 visitors per month aren't all old.

I didn't mean to offend you Rick. I am sure people who have heard it here first are planning on going. I just don't think anyone who cares about what I write will be attending. The people who want to go to a rave are going to go regardless of what I say.

I beg to differ, you are refering to the people who write in here. Area 151 had 3000 click throughs on their ads in the first month, I doubt that was mostly nosy old folks. The poeple coming to this site are of all ages and some live here and some are moving here. Younger people aren't interested in getting involved in whats talked about in here for sure, but they are here, for sure.

Don't worry. People will know about it. How often can people rave in this town? There will probably be a bunch of people from out of town. If you were really looking for money. I would have advertised in Springfield at Kaleidoscope and Cosmic Fish. People would come just for the electronic music. If you play some aphrodite and Roni Size, they will come. The people on here aren't really your demographics. I might have been at some point, but I am not in to all of that stuff right now.

Lighter News / Re: French say they need biggest condoms
« on: November 30, 2008, 08:27:53 PM »
Just proves courage and size don't match up.

This should proberly be in the joke section ***(((* http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/oukoe_uk_germany_condoms French say they need biggest condoms      Fri Nov 28, 8:41 am ET   BERLIN (Reuters) – The French say they need the largest condoms in Europe while Greeks get by on smaller ones, according to a Europe-wide study by a German consultancy that provides advice on condoms.
The study by the Singen-based Institute of Condom Consultancy was done by asking 10,500 men in 25 countries to measure their penis and enter the number into a database.
The results show Frenchmen on average claim to need 15.48-cm (6.09-inch) long condoms, about 3 cm longer than Greeks, whose condom-size requirement was the most modest.
Jan Vinzenz Krause, the institute's director, told Reuters Friday the data was collected over a period of eight months.
He did not want to comment on how honest he thought the Frenchmen had been in reporting the data.
The survey was aimed at educating youngsters about the importance of effective contraception.
The institute also offers online condom-size advice and hosts "Pimp Your Condom" -- an annual fair organised in cooperation with the national Aids Trust -- with the aim of educating teens about sexually transmitted diseases.
Krause was in the spotlight in the past when he produced a prototype of the "spray-on condom" -- an aerosol can which contains latex that creates a perfectly fitting condom. But the idea was not developed further.

News Release
Drug Search Warrant Served
Pulaski County Sheriff J. B. King
Nov. 29, 2008

At approximately 2:22pm on Nov. 29, 2008, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department with assistance from the Lake Area Narcotic Enforcement Group and a member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol from Troop I served a search warrant at 21125 Highway Y, St. Robert, Missouri. The Pulaski County Emergency Response Team (PCERT) was used to serve the warrant.

The warrant followed a brief investigation involving narcotic activity. Detectives from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department applied for the search warrant and it was granted by a circuit judge.

As a result of the search a small quantity of controlled substance believed to be heroin, narcotic paraphernalia, and possible stolen property were seized. There were four suspects in the house who were taken into custody pending additional investigation.

At this time the investigation continues. None of the persons arrested will be identified until formal charges are filed. There were no injuries to any person during this operation.

I asked dave this on the phone. He said they didn't sell well.. I ordered in on a buscuit instead of the bagel and liked it much better.. That had to be one of the best steaks and most tender I have ever eaten.

Dave,

Do you have any say in what you have as a regular menu item? I really miss the steak and egg bagels. They were the shiznit. I have seen them at other McD's around the country, but we haven't had them here in ages. Why can't we get them here?

Believe it or not folks there are people in government who don't appreciate truth in government, and don't want their daily toling detailed in print. Those are the people who work in back rooms trying to undermine those like Darrell and I who seek to expose the truth.. You rarely hear them speak publically about it, as that would further expose them, and open themselves up for more questions.

I see Darrells shortfalls as well as he can see mine, but the bottom line is we both have similar intentions as I spoke of above.. Are either of us perfect? Hardly, but without us, your world dimishes.. Can you imagine a world without the Ricks and Darrells? LOL

100 percent of the people on the street say they appreciate what it is I do. I know there are those who don't and their numbers are so few it is unimportant.. Most of those are a handfull of people in government and their immediate families, and those with something to hide..

1734
Oh, I thought they were saying it to undermine my reputation. LOL

And I'm not saying this is the case with you, FedUp, but after weeks of trying to stop false rumors about my relationship with Rick Lepard, I'm beginning to wonder if the rumors are being circulated by people who are deliberately trying to cause me problems. What's next? Are people going to blame me for my choice of computer retailers or internet service providers or car mechanics? Pulaski County people are good at whispering campaigns, but I believe shouting truth with a megaphone is a lot more effective than whispering falsehoods to lots of friends who pass them on to others. And unlike some of the people circulating falsehoods (and there are other versions out there that are much worse) I put my name behind what I say and what I write.

County Government Opinion / Re: How's the Prosecuting Attorney Doing?
« on: November 29, 2008, 01:25:50 AM »
Just some guy who will do a great job, not saying she's doing a bad job, actually I am somewhat pleased with her of late..

Sorry can't say, but thanks for the reminder I may ask him about it when I see him again.. He is a very level headed guy..

It has recently come to my attention that some local attorneys don't do well finacially, because of their title so to speak we all assume they are loaded.. Nowadays it's hard to make money in any business I suppose....

Rick don't keep us in suspense, who is it?

1736
I ate way too much and still am, we had a turkey over 20 pounds.. How was yours?

I also wonder why anyone cares who works for who or doesn't. Things like that seem so irrelevant.. In the begining Darrell offered me some sort of lucrative partnership to do this, and I turned it down because I don't do PCW for the money.. I do it as a service to the community, and the political watchdog aspects, I just wish more people appreciated it.. But believe me the nay sayers don't bother me one bit, those bitches are in every organization complaining about the others who do all the work..

I or we as in darrell may send out sales reps to sell ads in the future as this sites and his are very lucrative advertising avenues.. Not a priority for me, if I get hungry or broke I will go sell some ads myself.. I might add we are not even partners. He leases his site from me and it's content is his responsibility, and I own my and it is my responsibility.

Another rumor proven to be untrue...the website has proven worthy again.

Rick how was your Turkey day?  I ate too much and watched a lot of football.

1737
Darrell supplies his articles to the Daily Guide. He does not work for me..

DTM, you still with the Daily Guide?  I h eard a rumor you left the paper and we working for the PCW

How many of those plasmas did they have? Were they all gone immediately?

I got thereat 4 when the parking lot was still empty.. everyone that was already there was waiting by the plamas in the aisles.. I stood by my 50" plasma and watched the madness roll in about 4:45... The only people that I saw was rude were the employees... they were telling us we couldnt touch anything til 5:00 but of course with the way the were yelling at everyone, we all just took our lil plasmas and put it in our carts.. I dunno why, but one lady chose lil ol' me out of a huge crowd and told me to take it out my cart, but didn't say anything to anyone else around me and walked away... but overall my experience was good.. got my plasma and stood in line for about 5 min
