Ellvan, name calling is not allowed on this site. Last warning..

You missed the point. Most of the people on this site are a bunch of morons who have nothing better to do and they feel important because a county sheriff feels it is job to respond to morons.

Sneak Peek Sheriff's View / Re: Sneak Peek Sheriff's View

I removed one of your posts, don't be using my website for free advertizing.

While we are on the subject of tows, impounds and rates let me tell you about this tow today.  This officer was on her way to a fight in progress with weapons. The car’s motor blew IN the high speed lane of the east bound lane of Business 44 right by the state shed in St Robert. YES, she was still in/blocking the passing lane when I pulled up. I offered my assistance and was initially turned down because there was a truck in route from Lebanon (Rothmund’s) to move the vehicle. She told me per her bosses orders, only Rothmund’s Towing was allowed to move PCSD vehicles. After much argument (probably only the second time in my life I have augured with a uniformed cop) she finally let me pull the vehicle into a business parking lot and drop it there for the safety of her, the patrol car and the general public. The officer was told that the tow was for free to the PCSD repair facility and I was still not taken up on the offer for the tow. I waited around for another 15 minutes and the Rothmund’s truck never showed up. I had to leave to deal with other customers

Notes

1)    We do not typically move rear wheel drive vehicles by the front. BUT, this was an emergency situation requiring immediate action to ward off threat of death or serious injury. I only moved the vehicle 30-40 feet like this while the vehicle was in neutral.

2)    Typically police tows are done for a reduced or free rate as a public service to the community. I have told JB that I would match Rothmund’s rates and if I was given a share of impounds I would move broke or wrecked patrol cars for free.

Whats the name, who the hell are you talking about, I know his girlfriends past and present and have no clue who you are refering to.

The husband of the "alleged woman" was a military police officer type.  The "alleged woman was a Elbow Inn regular.  So if in fact the allegations are true than "alleged dude" also violated the bro code and I think its against the cop bro code to.

Shits getting deep now, let's see some proof.

Looks like Pulaski County voters messed up. The sheriff needs to be person that can be trusted without question and Mr Long is not that person. If he can't even do the right thing for his wife and family, why should we trust him as sheriff? I would be willing to bet that allot of people voted for him because of his name, not because he was a good person. Too bad this didn't come out till after the primary...

Mr Long, I have asked you a question and you have not responded. My question can almost be construed as a question of if you wouldn't be taking kickbacks like the current sheriff is. (Which it appears he is because he has never provide truth that he isn't) Also you have not had a response to this issue. Again, if its not true, come on here and publicly denies the allegations. Your silence makes us assumes that you are guilty...

I know him pretty well and know nothing about this but If I did, I'd ask if she had a friend. Good job Stud. We need a Clinton/Kennedy type leader..

Ron Long was "allegedly" accused of having an affair will a married military wife while her husband was serving in the sandpile. She divorced him while he was over there after telling him what she was doing.....Spurned and angry husband...... makes you wonder?

Here's my answer.
http://www.youtube.com/user/MrBulldog1965

Hello Everyone,
A good tuff win to day at the polls. Congratulations to Bill Anderson.  Now we don't have to worry about a bad candidate! (D) Bill Anderson won; and so did (R)  Ron Long.  You can tell a lot about the candidates, just by what they have not said  here on line. Take Bill Anderson for example. He is member of this site, and will not take the time to come on here and answer questions? Why; because some people want to bait him to get in a arguement, a fight and or saying the wrong thing? (Good luck) he wont stoop to their level. Bill Anderson is the most educated and professional person to run as sheriff for Pulaski County. In this day and age when the criminals seem to be a step ahead of the law-enforcement, we need Professional Leaders to stop them! As for work ethic Bill Anderson would appear to be second to none. The fact that he is volunteering for THE SHERIFFS OFFICE WHILE WORKING FULL TIME AND RUNNING FOR OFFICE and not just sitting on his butt. In this day and age, you can tell that these people are out of touch with the public. Where is the RESPECT for people that have put their lives on the line for their public safety? So when they are sleeping some of us are taking care of OUR county! Give me your answer to that question?

You are right, the losers are not convinced..

Hello Everyone;
Well I will say one thing for R.Long; He pulled off the (R) Side? How I have no clue? But not everyone is convince that he is the best one that won, on his side. Let me ask you a question R.Long? Why did you turn down a spot as Deupty Sheriff in PCSD? What happen to you as a St.Roberts Officer? Why did you leave and go to a differant state? Lots of smokey Mirrors? I Know that Nick Pappas, Johnny Burgess, and Bill Anderson all still work for the PCSD. They are all more qualified then you in my opinion. Now lets talk about what we all need a SHERIFF! Bill Anderson in my opinion is the best man for the job now. Professional Deputy, Firm, Fair and consistent. He is Retired Military 20 + years, PCSD 20+ years, All kinds of Leadership schools and Special Law Enforcement Training. College professor, Farmer, Family man and someone thats knows how to Run a budget for the county. Lets see R.Long have you served in the Military? Gee I heard some people can run for Sheriff and not even be state circertified? Well R.Long get back soon so we can find out some answers period?

The Kiplinger Washington letter predicted that athletic shoes would become extremely popular and the sole reason I went into the athletic shoe business when I did 28 years ago. They were right. They are well known for the accuracy of their predictions. Anyone else writing this article wouldn't concern me. I highly recommend you get their letter..
