County Government Opinion / Re: How's the Prosecuting Attorney Doing?
« on: June 13, 2010, 04:39:42 AM »
Thanks for the clarification.. Sounds good to me.

I would like to clarify... I'm not "holding" the debate. I simply took the initiative to make the arrangements happen.  William O. Worsham, Attorney at Law will be the neutral moderator.  He is not from this county and has years of experience in all aspects of the law including prosecution and will determine what questions will need to be asked.  He will be determining the questions and who is asked what. He does not know any of the candidates, their history or their party affiliation.  There will be 5-7 questions that will be provided to the candidates prior to the debate to prepare answers and then several questions that will be submitted from the constituents and the candidates, nor I, will know what those ones are.

I really have nothing more to do with the actual debate other than making sure people are where they need to be and at what time.

You should have brought the word Bambi into the email somehow. Someone SHOT BAMBI!!!!

I just sent an email to the mayor of Waynesville and I hope everyone that is pissed about what happened does the same, here is a copy of what I sent.

Sir

I would like to know if anything is being done about a Waynesville PD officer shooting a helpless Fawn in the parking lot of Mid Missouri Credit Union. This fawn was just lost and not sick, the workers of the bank were taking care of it all morning and just needed the fawn to be placed in the care of someone that would care for it, they even offered to pay to take it to the vet, but for some unknown reason the officer decided to discharge her weapon in public not once but twice in front a number of people to include children. This is a serious matter and needs to be addressed. I know there are other people that are sickened by this in the community (you can see and read that on pulaskicountyweb.com). I hope this is going to be addressed ASAP, because I will tell you that what happen has been reported to news agencies across Missouri and the US, and we all know how people like to jump on the band wagon of a helpless baby deer being shot at point blank and the officer standing there laughing after it was done. I hope you address this and take it serious. Thanks for your time.

It just feels to me like you have an agenda about Hooper, something I read you wrote somewhere.. Therefore it does make you look biased, and not the ideal person to hold the debate. Then again she doesn't come here and defend herself, so you know what I always say, "People don't come here who have something to hide." Not saying she does, but in my opinion it seems strange. I know I'd be in here defending myself if I were attacked. Then again I can just ban them LOL..

I've known Mrs. Hooper for a very long time both professionally and socially, so I'm not just someone "on PCW".  Even if I was, I'm still a voter and it should matter.

Todays Dominos response.

Thank you to the KFLW Morning show & The Pulaski County Health Inspector for setting the record straight about the FAKE HEALTH INSPECTION going around. We also want to thank all of our wonderful FB family for spreading the word that it is NOT true. We also want everyone to know if you would like to see our health inspection, we will proudly show it to you.

Here is the response from Dominos

Dominos.
This is not true we have never failed our inspection, we are calling the number now to clear this up. We also talked with the manager of Papa John's last night she also has NOT failed any type of inspection. I think it is sad this is going around because it is FALSE

Followup response from Dominos
Ok people here is the deal we have called in and they just didn't have our report on file it is not that we have failed the inspection that the state does (NOT FLW) and we have it here on our store and we passed with flying colors!!! but since thet did not have it on file they could not report us soooo I hope this clears up the rumors for us and the other places listed on this horrible list. A lot of peoples families depend on how these places perform and when vicious rumors fly around that effects them so please spread the word this in un true and feel free to call they will tell you the same I just wish people would have enough sense to check the stories before they are posted!

Wasn't that a two story white building the car lot was in?

Maynard,
Is this the building that Tom Boehr's first Chrysler dealership was located?  It looks similar to me but I'm not sure.  If it is the same, the location is where the new BP station is now.

I'm thinking 65 66. I recall hearing a guy or two got killed putting up their sign.

When was the Ramada built.  I moved her in 1970 and I don't remember it being anything else.

People with tattoos believe almost anything they hear.. LOL

Now I have question.  Was there a question about the people on those planes being punished for having tattoos or piercings because if not what does 911 have to do with the topic of this thread?

I watched the whole movie and it proved nothing except that people are gullable..

The Muslim crusades are continuing but not the christian? really? Are you serious? Arent we in afganistan and Iraq? They arent here. We have waged war on them , not them on us. Last time I checked there werent rockets landing in my neighborhood from their soldiers. Sure  I have heard of 9-11. Ive also seen the documentaries that tell us how those are B.S. The pentegon was never hit by a plane......proven. Flight 93( the towns own coroner said he quit acting as coroner after the first minute he was there...So..... B.S. Not one plane part or body part in the whole field. Twin towers? Brought down by pre positioned  building destruction Charges. Again Proven. Watch "Loose Change"The Twin towers were the first buildings in history to succumb to fire since we started building skyscrapers.  I feel as though our war on Muslims and their resoning for wanting us dead was brought on by Our ignorance that we are a super power. Apparently we are not.
It will turn your mind around. It did mine. Im more worried about our "Christian Government "than any Muslim.

County Government Opinion / Re: County Building Permits
« on: May 15, 2010, 01:56:54 PM »
Nope, nothing required in the county for fencing.

I have a question, and I am not sure what forum to post it. Moderators, if this is in the wrong place, please move it to the appropriate section.

If a resident lives in the county (Hunters Point), do I have to go through the process of getting a builders permit to install a fence around my lot. I know there are city requirements for building permits, I am just unclear about the rules for those of us who live outside the city limits, and in Pulaski County.

If so, which county agency would handle a permit?

Thanks for your time.
