We paid by check. Not sure if they take debit cards because I didn't have mine with me. The cave animals are still there but it wasn't a cave theme menu.

Okay, just got back from The Cave.
Where do I start, lol.
It is a great dining experience! They shuttle you in to the restaurant and give a brief history of it. It is a really neat place for sure.
The prices.....not cheap. We are a family of 4 (1/2), and spent $90 including tip. Just meals and drinks.
The food.....not greatly impressed. Had high expectations so we were all a little disappointed.
Husband had the Shrimp Platter, around $16.99 he didn't care for it.
Son had Fettuccine with chicken, $12.99 I think. He didn't like it, daughter tasted it said it was nasty.
Daughter had 12oz Top Sirlion $16.99. Didn't like it because she ordered it medium-well and it came medium-rare. Just too pink for her and she wouldn't let me send it back because she afraid they would spit in it, lol. I tried it and thought it was fine.
I had the oven baked lasagna, $13.99. Was just okay. Ended up eating my daughters steak and she finished my lasagna.
They have only been open a week, so I am hoping the food improves.
Might try it again in a few months.

We eat there a couple of times a week and talk with the owner a lot when we are there. He has never mentioned anything about closing.
Actually now that I'm thinking about it, he asked us last time we were there how much we would charge him to repaint....so I don't think he's planning on going anywhere.

Restaurant Opinion / Re: Pizza Hut
« on: May 16, 2009, 04:26:52 PM »
It had been about 3 years since we had been to Pizza Hut because the last time we went we waited over an hour for our food and when it finally came it wasn't the right order.
So we decided to give it a try again last night. BIG MISTAKE! We sat at our table and watched other come in after us, get served, eat and leave..........we are still waiting.
Noticed 2 military guys having a couple of beers (no food) a few tables away and they looked pretty upset, who were there before we arrived. About 50 mins of waiting our food comes and it's barely even warm. As we were finishing choking down what we could stand to eat the 2 military guys finally are served their food.  Which means they had been waiting well over an hour. Minutes later the manager  goes to their table and talks to them. My husband was mad as hell and took the little one to the truck and I stayed and waited for the manager. I gave her an ear full, asked her for a box so I could at least take my pizza home and microwave it so I could eat warm. Needless to say I didn't have to pay for our meal.
We won't be back.

FYI it looks like they are completely renovating the older housing.  New windows, bathrooms, flooring, etc.  Call housing and see what the wait list looks like.
Your are correct, that is what we are doing. New everything.
Didn't get to take any pics today but will try to tomorrow.

LOL those steps really bug me too.Balfour Beatty said to leave them there. Yardmaster is doing the yards now and they are out here mowing everyday. It will probably take them awhile to catch up.

Yes, there are quite a few. But I don't know what the waiting list is like. We are doing about 10-20 a month. Some are ranch style conversions, some are 2 story. But both styles are very big! 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, recreational room which could very easily be used as an extra 2 bedrooms.

My husband and I are working on the remodeling contract that is going on now. We have the drywall and painting contract. They are converting two 2 story units into one huge unit. It should be plenty big enough!
