No problem. I'll let you know after I get everything downloaded and done. Can you play MP3's or regular?
MP3's I can get them all probably on 2 discs. Otherwise it will take several.

« on: October 28, 2008, 05:40:56 PM »
My husband saw the commercial last night for the TimeLife Oldie's collection and put me on a mission to download all the Oldie's I can find.
So I'm in the process of downloading about 100 songs for him.
If anyone else would like a copy, let me know.

Local News / Re: Where is gas $2.04 a gallon???
« on: October 28, 2008, 02:18:43 PM »
Witmore Farms currently has the lowest gas price in the area. It's usually but not always on the lower end of the gas price spectrum.

For those who don't know, I produce a daily gas report for the Daily Guide of all gas prices on the I-44 corridor between Buckhorn and the Dixon exit (mile markers 153 to 163) plus Historic Route 66 and the Missouri Avenue Spur.

Regards,
Darrell Todd Maurina

Will you be doing something like that for our news section here?

Hmmm, now that I think about it, my mom wears a mood ring. Maybe that's why my dad always has a red mark on his forehead too?

I glad to hear that you are doing better. I have been praying for you. I couldn't bring myself to tell you this before but my Dad died from a "routine" gall bladder surgery.
Oh my! I'm glad you didn't tell me that before. Did he have some bad complications?

Yes, finally. Still get a little short of breath when I try to do too much, but sooo much better than before.

I don't know, but it is always lower there.  A while back i went to Leb. and gas there was like .35 cents cheaper than here.
Last friday when I had to go to the ER, it was 2.11 in Lebanon

On the news they said gas is cheaper in Springfield, etc. because they are closer to a major pipeline, who knows?
Hmmm, that could be. I still think it's higher here due to it being a military area.

« on: October 28, 2008, 12:00:21 PM »
I know it isn't what you are looking for, but the new big philly cheesesteak at subways is pretty good. It isn't going to satisfy your craving for the original, but it is good in it's own right.

And mayo is what goes on pomfritz (fries). At least that's how we did it growing up in Germany.
Yeah, Subway's is good but they shouldn't call it a philly because it tastes nothing like one.

I don't believe Kari was trying to attack anyone. She was just trying to be supportive of the great opportunities our country can provide.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't believe anyone (illegally) should be able to come here and be offered the same rights and opportunities as legal citizens.
But this is a great country full of great things for those who deserve it!

Yeah, Crazy Jacks are pretty good. I like the ones you get at the bowling alley too. Does Sonic still have them? They were really good but I thought it was a limited time thing.
