Miss Pulaski County is a different thing then Pulaski County Regional Fair Queen. Miss Pulaski County goes on to the state level and could if she were to win go on to the Miss America Contest.  Pulaski County Regional Fair Queen can go on to compete at the state fair. I know that the Fair crowned its queen this weekend as I am a founding member of this fairs board. I don't think the Miss Pulaski County competition was held this week. That's why I asked. If I were the Miss Pulaski County I'd be pissed if someone else was going around claiming to be the same. Then again I can see by Marks response that perhaps the Daily Guide got it wrong, if they did, they will surely be contacted for a correction.

Before you make a joke about me being the queen, I just thought I'd beat you all to it.

I hope you will share your answer with those of us who get all our news here and never see the "paper" paper.

Miss Pulaski County? This wasn't Pulaski County Fair Queen?

Seems like its been awhile since everything went right. Yesterday I picked up my new truck,(2000 Durango very nice) Katherine (my daughter) was crowned miss Pulaski county. Every time she has entered one of these she has won! (I'm very proud) I'm going to make "the queen" a nice breakfast. And.......... I think I may have sorta, kinda, almost got a date with a nice girl very soon (I hope). I hope nothing blows up, or catches fire today!

I bought a package for their bronze beds last year. The normal price for one session is about 15 dollars, I think this package had maybe 4 sessions and I may have saved 5 dollars..
I went there yesterday to use one of the sessions, they said my sessions had expired, and that I would have been told they had a expiration date when I purchased them. I know for a fact they didn't tell me that when I purchased them. I might also add that I think this is one dumb policy, simply because they will never see another dime of my money.

Does it also detect carbon monoxide?

Can you guys figure out which one is my new girlfriend?

Things that make you go HMMMM / Re: expensive mattress
« on: June 10, 2009, 02:57:42 PM »
Yesterday I left my checkbook and all my credit cards at a grocery store in Dixon, in the cart, in the parking lot for about a half hour before I realised I left it. Went back and it was still in the cart.

JERUSALEM – An Israeli woman mistakenly threw out a mattress she said had almost $1 million inside, setting off a frantic search through tons of garbage at a number of landfill sites on Wednesday.
The woman told The Associated Press that she bought her elderly mother a new mattress as a surprise present on Monday — and threw out the old one.
The next day, she said, she remembered that she had hidden her life savings inside the old mattress. "I woke up in the morning screaming, when it hit me what happened," said the Tel Aviv woman, who asked not to be identified.
She went to look for the mattress, but it had already been hauled away by garbage collectors, she said. Searches at three different landfill sites turned up nothing.
She said the money was in U.S. dollars and Israeli shekels. She refused to say how she acquired such a large sum. "It was all my money in the world," she said. There was no way to verify her claims, and she refused to disclose key details.

I think you are wrong about her. Sorry abaout the bruise, I will be more gentle next time.

P.S.  I hate her hair and she's knock-kneed.  And she almost has cankles, and is that a bruise on her right upper calf?.
Um, what else...oh, looks like her right heal stepped in something.  LOL, that was fun.  I bet she looks like a dog in the face, or she wouldn't be showing her backside to the camera.  Either that or she's a sizee wrong about her.  32A. Hahahahahahahaha

Ladies did it, why can't we?

Thanks to all who gave us a heads up on this information. It may have been that the police don't want to alarm the citizens, but they can't forget we have ears all over the county. Therefore if they don't inform us then the alarms are bound to heighten.
You cub reporters rock. LOL

I heard he had no weapon, just a paper bag over his hand.

So far, I have heard of NO injuries.  That is a Godsend in itself.  Glad for that part of it.

Add Microtel to that. I was also told they aprehended him. Alarmco employees told me that. They said  Jerry was up at Microtel last night going over films.
Looks like Jerry just had an acident at the Ramada lights in the last half hour. No one was hurt that I know of.

Not all blinds are bought at walmart.
I know, what adult would try to hang themselves with a string on a blind!

That just sounds kinda weird to me.  Couldn't do that at my house the blind would fall down.  You can barely close pull them up and down without them falling.

Wasn't high gas prices the reason you sold so many harleys?
And now folks, we have my nomination for "Most Bone-Headed Post of the Month"!  Unbelievable!

Not bad.

Student sells virginity online
A Romanian student is auctioning her virginity online to pay her way through university.
Alina Percea /Sorin Cazacu
Alina Percea, 18, from Caracal in Olt county, has posted her ad on German site which specialises in dating and erotic auctions.
In her ad, she says: "I am a 108lbs, 5.67 ft tall, brown-eyed Romanian girl. I don't smoke and own a certificate from a gynaecologist which says I am a virgin. I want my first time to be special and not very abrupt.
"The winning bidder can spend a whole weekend with me provided he will cover all the expenses in case I need to travel or stay at a hotel."
Miss Percea says she decided to go ahead with the auction to raise enough money to pay for her studies - but she also hopes the winner might become her husband.
She says she is hoping to raise 50,000 euros but, with three days to go until the auction closes, bidding stands at 5,000 euros.

I was a nice way for me to say what you did. LOL
I did? LOL

Hey! We have one positive thing here. Thanks.

One of the neatest things (of the many) of this site, I would probably never got to talk with littlerusso and tell her that story about her grandmother without this site. Thank you Rick!!!  Don't tell you often enough.

Since you booked a room through my site you now have traveler privelges.

I can't PM because I don't have enough posts. My mom is Debby Franks (Pauley).

I deleted it, just so we can have a new conspiracy theory each day.

That statement is so you. LOL

He doesn't have to speak. He just has to stand there or lay there or whichever makes him comfortable.

I was busy. LOL
I know we got strippers that read this, why no comments?
