  • Valor7: Actually no it is not, a dependable Revenue stream will not come on line until the 4th quarter of 2017 so 2018 budget will be up in the air, not quite sure what they will have. By 2019 budget all will be well.

  • Valor7: Yes and no. We talked details and options until we were blue in the face but I never heardbring it over, it was always the time was not right for the issue to pass. Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

Does anyone have an idea who might be appointed to Pat Howe's seat. And is there a certain length of time it is supposed to be done, or can the city take as long as it wants. I am not sure but I think they can take their time, but really don't know the ordinances, or state laws, whichever the case may be.
I have it on good authority that the Hokey-Pokey really IS what it's all about.

I haven't logged on in awhile and Ed usually answers these questions.  Sorry it has taken so long to have an answer posted.... The mayor will appoint someone to Pat's seat.  He plans to do that at the August council meeting.  I think he has several people who have expressed an interest and that is a good thing.  That person will serve until April of 2010.

We will miss Pat greatly.  He was a partner on several projects but more importantly, was the chairman of our Utilities Committee and has been influential the last few years with building of new infrastructure.

Why does Pat's seat have to be filled?  Did I miss something- What happened?

I think so or he would be hitting more HRs. Something wrong with Izzy too.

Somethings been wrong with Izzy for 3 years. I would just outright him and get it over with. I would rather leave my starters in to get pounded than even look at the pen. And enough with the righty-lefty matchups. Geez

We would be just as well off, but you know Tony, he likes to play with that.

I think he needs a bottle of wine and a stop light to sleep it off. He makes me crazy.

From what I was told Mrs. Campbell will be back on the council. Don't know how true that is but that is the latest around some circles.

It won't be Mrs. Campbell.  Sue is enjoying retirement too much.  There are several good candidates being considered and I would expect the Mayor to make his choice soon.

The mayor announced yesterday that his nomination will be Butch O'Riley for Ward 4.  The Council will vote on it at the August meeting and Butch would serve out Pat Howe's term until April of 2010.
