if your down on your back you need to get a doctor's note so you don't get selected, that would be very uncomfortable to have to sit all day in a jury seat

I have lived in Pulaski County since 1970 with a short absence, registered voter, tax payer, never been called for jury duty.  Uh, you don't release our names do you?
When I was young, I wanted to be older.  This is not what I expected!

Good, a paid vacation for a change.

No really, I would like to be on a jury but I am so opinionated I doubt that they would select me.

And, how come I don't have a pretty green and red arrow?

$6.00 a day does not make me want that paid vacation.  You do get the motel, movies, food, and basically anything you want.  No phone, no news, etc.  Well...maybe that's not so bad afterall.

Good, a paid vacation for a change.

Chances are that the upcoming trial from Cassville will have a sequestered jury, since it should be a death penalty case.  Staying in hotel suite and being fed all the junk food you can handle in the evening and taken to good restaurants too.  Just no news of any kind is available to you.  Gets kind of lonely though and wears on your nerves.  They select jurors based on random searches by driver's license.  I mean for the jury GROUP.  The lawyers and such select the final jurors for the trial.  And no we can't volunteer I don't believe.  Too bad, cuz this one trial is just up my alley.  We can give them a fair trial and take them out to the court square to complete the sentence.

I'm on jury duty this go around. i understand its your duty as a citizen and I'm all for that but I am not the type of person who can handle these situations well. And a high profile case like this would be horrible for me. Being sequestered sounded fun when I had jury duty last time but this time with an infant at home it sounds horrible. I've been called three times this term but not selected. Of course this last time I was seriously ill and the time before I was out of town.

We have four people in our small office that got summoned for the upcoming term.  But the other three are Phelps County so they let two of them defer until next year.  I'm still stuck.
