and that is the real danger with nobama as president. there will be 2 or 3 supreme court retirements. ginsburg and stevens would not retire while W was president. kennedy is 84 and is a swing vote. the lower court nominations will not be pretty, and I don't think the dems will drag their butts approving nominations or filibustering nominations.

Fact:  Obama still rates higher with gun owners than McCain.

Conclusion:  McCain's gonna take your guns!

I don't know hwere you got your fact.  Obama certainly does not rate at all with gunowners I know and know of.  Fact is Obama will, with a democratic congress, circumvent the Constitution and all amendments before they get done.  Then they can control the masses.  A man with a gun is a citizen.  A man without a gun is a slave.  The Bill of Rights ENUMERATES God-Given rights, not rights granted by the government.

Yes you do.  I believe God promoted wars in His name also.  It is also a God-Given RIGHT to have the tools and the means for the First Law of Nature.  The Consititution does not give us rights.  God did that.  Our Constitution enumerates those rights.  I am not about to trust my well being or that of my family to the police who can only react after the crime and draw a chalkline around the body.  It is not their job to protect us individually, except in the case of the elite.  It is up to each and every one of us to help ourselves and to survive.  God, Guns and Guts made this country free.  It took all three then and continues to take all three.  A gun is a tool, pure and simple. One of many I carry in my toolbag.  it can be used for good or for evil, depending on the user.  The gun is not evil unto itself and does not turn people into evil beings.

Wow, does that apply to those imprisoned in Guantanamo?

They were taken off the battlefield.  I hold no brief for those warring against us.  They have already proven their barbarism in the way they murder our troops if/when they capture them.  I am talking of the citizens of this country.  I notice there has been no real answer to the original post.  Difficult to compete with facts backed up. Emotionalism isn't gonna work.  Yin and Yang.  I know.  For every post brought up by myself or others being conservative, you will have some answer, be it sarcastic or otherwise.  So be it.  The game is still on.
