Leo's at one time was an upscale dining establishment and bar. I laugh now at thinking how expensive it was and was only for special occasions, when I can't even order pizza now for the price they charged for lobster, lol

I don't know if you would call it a bar or not but the old bowling alley used to have a nice lounge in it.

The Victory Pub in downtown Waynesville was opened in 1942. It is the only continuous ran bar in the county. Diane is very interesting to speak to as well. She knows a lot of history

Nope, can't place it in my head...  I'm sure I've seen it, maybe even been in there before, but can't place it right now...

Yes, but sometimes it is hard to catch her open...When they have special committee meetings, she has to close to go to them...I usually try to call before I drive down there

Usually if her brown chevy truck is parked out front she is open. I beleive she is open every wednesday night as well. She had the cheapest beer prices in town the last time I was in there (around Christmas). If you don't drink it is still an interesting place to go to see all the stuff she has on the walls and like I mentioned earlier she is very interesting to talk to. I beleive her dad started the business

There was a woman killed in Crocker Cave after the bar was shut down. I need to do some more research on it to find the exact dates. I know some one that used to bartend at the Queen of Hearts and I think I might be related(step family) to one of the owners of it. Godfreys Hide-a-way was bought by Judy Dye and is now called Judy's Place. This is a great beer bar espically on Sunday afternoons. I beleive that is all correct but maybe Rick ought to check me out on this since he is twenty years older than me
