  • Valor7: Actually no it is not, a dependable Revenue stream will not come on line until the 4th quarter of 2017 so 2018 budget will be up in the air, not quite sure what they will have. By 2019 budget all will be well.

  • Valor7: I could have worded that better, we talked details, options, the pros and cons of each, in  order to arrive at the best ballot language to present to the voters. Hope that makes this clearer.

  • Valor7: Yes and no. We talked details and options until we were blue in the face but I never heardbring it over, it was always the time was not right for the issue to pass. Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

Based on this thread and the water meter reader telling me the roads were "like ice" I left work early.  I didn't see any ice or bad roads at all.  I work at ROA so had to take Eastlawn all the way back to Missouri Ave.  No ice nothing. I felt bad for leaving early.
When I was young, I wanted to be older.  This is not what I expected!

They let post out early.  I didn't leave St Bob until maybe 4.  There was a car in the ditch w/ PSD assistance on Turkey ridge just before the HWY 7 exit.  Just over the hill beyond that there was a jeep on its side in the median.  Rescue was just beginning to work that one.  When I hit my brakes to turn into the drive (just south of Richland), the anti-lock kicked in.

It is getting slick.  Be safe all.
"In order to be a leader of men, a man has to receive an education in his own country, among his own people, and to grow up in surroundings steeped with the traditions and psychology of his countrymen.  Not only did Western education not fulfill that condition, but it tended to wean a young man from the traditions and customs of his country."

At 4pm there were 7 accidents within about 10 minutes.  Nothing major...no injuries that I am aware of.  Just folks driving too fast for conditions.

This was just the County area.....not counting inside city limits.

We were coming out of Walmart yesterday afternoon, and there was something going on over in front of Dollar Tree. There was a police car and two ambulances. Don't know if it was weather related or not.
