  • Valor7: Actually no it is not, a dependable Revenue stream will not come on line until the 4th quarter of 2017 so 2018 budget will be up in the air, not quite sure what they will have. By 2019 budget all will be well.

  • Valor7: I could have worded that better, we talked details, options, the pros and cons of each, in  order to arrive at the best ballot language to present to the voters. Hope that makes this clearer.

  • Valor7: sorry about the typos still working with just one arm in action

  • Valor7: Yes and no. We talked details and options until we were blue in the face but I never heardbring it over, it was always the time was not right for the issue to pass. Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

Can anyone tell me why the East bound lane of St. Robert Boulevard was closed? And maybe who the jerk was who was directing traffic away from the left hand turn lane coming from Waynesville on to to the boulevard? He was a young guy in his late 20's who thought he was gods gift to trafic cop wannabes. Acted all aggressive and combative. He was also plain clothed in a civillian vehicle.

Wish I could answer, but I had the same questions.  Took an hour and a half to get from the Ramada to the lights @ the overpass - major funnel through Waynesville.  City, county and state......not to mention municipal road crews.  Who was in charge?
"In order to be a leader of men, a man has to receive an education in his own country, among his own people, and to grow up in surroundings steeped with the traditions and psychology of his countrymen.  Not only did Western education not fulfill that condition, but it tended to wean a young man from the traditions and customs of his country."

He was probably one of St Robert's finest who was off duty.

Had someone worked the lights to move traffic, traffic could have moved.

I don't know who directed what or where but it was a mess.  Everyroad was gridlocked, going west.  My grandsons didn't get home from school till 6:30 and they usually get home at 4:30.  I think the bus drivers deserve a medal for having to put up with those kids for another two hours and you know they were getting "antsy" from sitting on the bus all that time.  I had to pick my daughter up down in Waynesville, so I went through post and out on Polla Rd.  Not bad that way at all.
When I was young, I wanted to be older.  This is not what I expected!

That would work too but I didn't have to go into Waynesville just down by Price Cutter so didn't want to have to get in the city route traffic if I didn't have to.

Princess, everytime I see that picture on your profile I think it is my grandson.  He looks a lot like him.  Very cute little boy. :wink1a:
