Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

Unknown Substance Scare
Pulaski County Sheriff J. B. King
May 2, 2009

Shortly before 5:00pm on May 2, 2009, during an investigation involving a domestic situation a letter was opened at the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department to examine some documents inside the letter. An unknown powder substance fell to the floor. The Sheriff’s office was placed on a lock down and local area emergency responders were notified.

Units from the Waynesville Rural Fire department, the St. Robert Fire Department and the Ft. Wood Fire Department responded to the scene. Units from the Tri-County Fire Department moved into the St. Robert-Waynesville area to cover for those departments. The Waynesville City Police assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and members of the Mark Twain REACT closed off the Waynesville City Square to all traffic. The Pulaski County Ambulance District staged units close to the scene for a fast response if needed.

At approximately 7:30 pm the fire personnel on scene were able to determine that the unknown powder substance was not a threat. The normal flow of traffic was resumed and the Sheriff’s Department lock down was ended. The original investigation will continue in an attempt to determine additional facts.

Quote from Sheriff King; “I would like to commend all of the emergency responders who reacted to this incident. The professionalism and advanced training shown by these responders is a credit to the individuals and their respective departments. I realize that over two hours may seem to be a long time to some people but during an incident of this nature two hours to resolve the situation is a job very well done.”

Who? would do that? Seriously WTF? You are better off walking in with an unloaded gun. Things go quicker then.
Or load the gun and put it to your own head. They jumped on the fail boat.

Courthouse square closed to investigate suspicious powder
WAYNESVILLE, Mo. (May 2, 2009) — An unknown powder shut down Waynesville’s downtown courthouse square for nearly two hours Saturday evening beginning around 5 p.m., just as Frog Fest participants were leaving the park and clogging downtown streets with pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The powder eventually proved to be harmless, but that wasn’t clear for several hours. King said the powder was discovered while deputies were conducting an investigation involving a domestic incident and opened a letter at the courthouse to examine some documents inside the letter. After the unknown powdery substance fell to the floor, the department “was placed on a lock down and local area emergency responders were notified,” he said in a prepared statement. Who? would do that? Seriously WTF?

I think defending the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic could come into play if they start something.

Could this be the start of matrsnot's diabolical plot against his "domestic enemy"(United States government)? I don't have any hard evidence, but others on this board have convinced me that good citizens report all suspicious activity within their communities. It's safe to say that the above statement is inherently suspicious. J/K...kinda.
