Not open yet but opening soon in the old gas station down by the bridge in Waynesville.

I have seen them cleaning up in there and painting chairs etc.  Wondered what was going on.

I hope the food is good, prices are right and they succeed.  Would be a nice addition to the area.

They will have all you can eat: spaghetti, shrimp, and catfish nights.  Sounds good, hope they live up to my expectations.

I'm not sure I like the name...

Dr. Phil's?

Yeah, don't know where that came from.  I googled it and nothing came up so I don't think it is a franchise.  Maybe the owner will find out about PCW and come on and explain the name and give more info on the restaurant.

I have a friend who said the spaghetti sauce wasn't very good.  Just wondered if anybody else had an opinion.

OMG...I never even heard of Pingas!  I don't know about eating at a place called Dr. Phil's either.  Just very unappetizing, IMO.

So, Phil, is a previous resident of the Ozarks and has moved back to build this small business. They are located right next door to my office.

So far my partner and I have eaten thier food 3 separate times. And for the first week of business they have done very well with the quantity and quality of the food. They are doing a brisk business at lunchtime. I have not been in my office to see what kind of a crowd they have for breakfast and supper.

I will be going over in a minute to get a tenderlion sandwich.

Give them a try and remember this is the first week. Dr. Phil's 774-0184

The name though.

I mean, anything with "Dr." is going to be associated by some longtime residents with a certain adult business.

So, I eat french fries there way to often. And, no I haven't scanned the menus yet basically because my life is a bit too hectic at the moment.
He has very reasonable prices, is pretty darn busy at lunch time, fairly busy at supper and there are repeat customers. The latest that I have heard from someone other than myself is that they have the best meatloaf ever! Oh, and hubby had a philly steak and cheese sandwich last night.

Hubby and I ate there tonight before going to a movie.  He had a philly cheese steak sandwich and I had the strip steak.  He gave it a thumbs up and the strip steak was yummy too.  Very reasonable prices, for both of us, with drinks, was under $14.

I think there is already a thread for this restaurant.  Go look at restarurant opinions.
