Timing at Missouri Ave and East Lawn not good.  Please set it back to the way it was.  In the morning when coming from E Lawn turning to FLW the light only lets out 3 cars and 3 RUN THE LIGHT right after.  This slow light also causes congestion on the side roads.  Soon school will be back in session and that intersection will be pure hell.

St Robert.  It aint working, please fix it.

No matter the timing, you can bet on a least three cars running those lights, in all directions...never seen anything like it. If I am first at the light, I never start to pull out as soon as I get a green, cause someone will run the red, and usually three someones.

I've noticed also the timing is off from the way it used to be.

I think MoDot was on crack when they designed these new intersections anyway....good grief, they are crazy and offset, and trying to get off Marshall onto Eastlawn between four and five is a death trap.

Maybe a police unit could park there for a few days, letting people get the idea that it's not good to run a red light.
....and that night as the moon crossed the mountain, one more Coyote was heard...

Actually just park an empty car there, don't need the cop. Works wonders

Taz,

We'll contact MoDOT this morning and let them know there is a problem.  I saw it today when I came to work.  The City does not control the light so we'll have to wait for MoDOT.

Thanks,
Kevin

LOL maybe one that does not run, hey this could be an answer to some funding problems. We could place a dummy cop (no offense) in the seat to slow people down, put a hair dryer in his hand! LOL

Okie: Try going left on Marshall from your office, then turn right and go through KFLW's lot and get on Mo. Ave. then turn right onto Eastlawn. Believe it or not, it's quicker!

I know, I have done that before. Sometimes I even cross over to vfw memorial and come out at that light.

I have a problem with merging into Missouri Avenue from the city route and getting all the way over into the left lane so I can turn onto Eastlawn.  Sometimes if the traffic is heavy I stay in the right hand lane then turn into the little road that goes to Taco Bell then go down past the convenience store and auto parts store and go to the stop light and go across Missouri Ave to Eastlawn.
When I was young, I wanted to be older.  This is not what I expected!

Yes, I had to do that many times when I worked at the DG. You just learn to adjust, to do what you have to do.

I'm thankful to all the drivers who let school buses over in the left lane to go to East Lawn when school is in session. Won't be long now and we will be back on the roads again. The thirteenth cometh. Yeah, I heard all those whoops and hollers, and praise Jesus comments. jfj :th_grinin:
