Waynesville, Mo. -
Snow covered roads Thursday night are cited as the reason a Waynesville woman lost control of her vehicle around 5:55 p.m. on Interstate 44.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Cynthia L. Benson, 50, of Waynesville, was driving west on I-44 when she lost control of her 2000 Toyota Tacoma, slid into the median and struck the median cables.
Benson, who was wearing a seat belt, received moderate injuries and was taken to St. John’s Hospital, Lebanon, by Pulaski County Ambulance.
Her Toyota was moderately damaged and removed by Rothmund’s Towing.
