Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

These have been in Pulaski since the early 90s that I know of.  Never seen people throwing them in yards or anything like that, but I knew a group of people that used to set these off in Crocker cave all of the time.

I got an email one day about this, and it was ironic because they pretty much tell you EXACTLY how to make them in the email.  So now **anyone** can make them!!

Don't think we have to worry about this in Pulaski County but just be aware.

A friend sent me the warning and I checked it out on Snopes.

Works Bombs do not sit in your yard waiting to blow up. if made they will go off in seconds. Your not going to come up on a bottle setting there for a while and suddenly ...BOOM. these things are quick. theres a few variations of how to make them but none are real dangers unless you are within a foot or two. Ive had em go off as they left my hand.  I used to make them when I was younger to scare people . 4th of July is coming up, though, so watch for sparkler bombs and co2 bombs. seems its legal to sell the componants to make these but not legal to make them. A Springfield man got some time last year for a sparkler bomb.

I learned how to make one of these in Jr. High for a school project... ya, that was just a few years ago...
The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance. Cicero - 55 BC, Rome

Most people in the military know how to make MRE bombs.
Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrous...

My eldest couldn't wait to show us what he learned in BT - the infamous MRE "bomb".  LOL

And we always have a couple home mades for the 4th.  Toilet paper rolls......ok, I digress.

I know this was meant to be serious, sorry Iggy.

The email is a bit misleading in some of the details though.  I believe the burning bag of dung on Haloween is a bit more dangerous all around....
"In order to be a leader of men, a man has to receive an education in his own country, among his own people, and to grow up in surroundings steeped with the traditions and psychology of his countrymen.  Not only did Western education not fulfill that condition, but it tended to wean a young man from the traditions and customs of his country."
