  • Valor7: Actually no it is not, a dependable Revenue stream will not come on line until the 4th quarter of 2017 so 2018 budget will be up in the air, not quite sure what they will have. By 2019 budget all will be well.

  • Valor7: I could have worded that better, we talked details, options, the pros and cons of each, in  order to arrive at the best ballot language to present to the voters. Hope that makes this clearer.

  • Valor7: Yes and no. We talked details and options until we were blue in the face but I never heardbring it over, it was always the time was not right for the issue to pass. Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

There are horses being neglected on Hartford rd. Police and rescue orgs have been contacted. Owner does better after reported but always goes back to not caring for these animals! They are going downhill again and have no food or water. my children filled 5 gallon buckets for them but in summer heat is not near enough. please someone do something. This is ridiculous to let him continue the same cycle over and over again! One Gelding needs put down and mare and new filly are going downhill quickly! We actually snuck mare and filly onto our property to graze for a couple hours. dont know what else to do!!! This man needs to be taught a lesson and his animals confinscated>

Where is Hartford Road?   Keep calling the rescue organizations and the police.  Hopefully,  they will get tired of you calling and make him do something.
When I was young, I wanted to be older.  This is not what I expected!

Where about on Hartford Rd? I know people that live on that road.
Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, So love the people who treat you right, Forget the ones who don't, and believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

I will get the information from the Sheriff, we do not have a probelm seizing these animals if we have enough for a court order. But it will be checked out. Thank you for you concern.

we called rescue orgs and they came from columbia to get the worst of them but the man threw a fit so he is still there! he has since moved them out of the foot and half of poop they were standing in and put them across road. the mare and filly are moved to his tiny yard up the road. But he will resort back to neglect as he has always done. this cycle has been going on for a couple of years now and 2 horses have died due to malnutrition under his care already! if you turn on hartford at the storage sheds there is a small drive that goes to the right he lives there at the end and mare and filly are there. the other 3 are further down after old gravel plant. they were locked in stalls with nothing in old barn on the left but are now loose across road from barn. the mare and filly look better after 4 days of grazing our land but he has since moved them! this situation has been reported numerous times by a number of people who live on road and watch them slowly deteriorate.

keep calling whoever you have to call, get your neighbors to call.  Those horses need to be removed, all of them, and he should not be able to have animals.
