I am just sick over this! It is so horrible and so very very sad. I hate it when people are taken so early in life and leave behind children! On their way back from a family vacation it just saddens me so much! Not sure but heard she was ejected and I just wish as adults that seat belts are worn. I know it seems like rights are taken away by being forced to but... its worth your life if it may help save it. I always put mine on just isn't worth the risk. To me if race car drivers do it then so am I.
Such a wonderful family and she was a wonderful individual. My prayers to the Muxlow/ Schwandt families!

I think the report said the other driver wasn't wearing a seat belt and was ejected.  I'm sure Mary was wearing her seat belt, she is a great roll model to her kids and her students.

You will be missed terribly Mary.  Rest in Peace Sweetie.

Well if thats true... I'm sorry I was misinformed but still very sadden by what happened. She was our neighbor for years and I have known her since she was a little girl. It just breaks my heart. But still wear your seat belts, it does save lives.
I was told it was on the st. Louis news channel I know my sister lives in Illinois and said she seen it on TV as she texted me and asked me if I knew them.
My stomach is just sick over this. I sure hope he makes a full recovery. Those kids need a parent than too loose both of them. God Bless them all.

The online article from the St. Louis Post Dispatch..said everyone in the Muxlow car was wearing seatbelts. Such a tragedy.

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, So love the people who treat you right, Forget the ones who don't, and believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

This is a real tragedy. One dumb bastard destroys an entire family, as happens all too often. I'll be thinking about the Muxlow/Schwandt families, they live real close to me here in Richland. Makes me really think about how easily a life can be destroyed.

My sincere condolences to the Muxlow/Schwandt families.

She was a wonderful person and yes very well liked. It is sad that one individual can drive so recklessly to take the life of a young mother and teacher away in just seconds. Im still just sick over it. I feel so bad for the families and those kids.
I wish people would pay attention and understand that their vehicle can be a deadly weapon and drive them as such! So stupid for stuff like this to happen when there is no reason for it. Makes me wonder what he was in such a hurry for? it defenitely wasnt worth it!

Please don't forget to to keep Chad Muxlow in your prayers, he is still fighting for his life in the hospital. The kids have already lost their mother, they can't lose their father too!

Prayers please for Chad.  According to the post on caring bridge, he is having trouble breathing.  Not life threatening at this time, but problematic.  Please pray for his complete healing so he can be with his kids.

Chad Muxlow is a walking miracle.  The accident was almost 2 months ago and he is home with his family, even went out to fight the "black Friday" crowds, preparing a Christmas for his kids which is what Mary would want him to be doing.
