Anyone else disappointed in their quality and service lately? I wish Price Cutter would provide those young ladies with some proper training and management. The employees are doing the best they can, I am sure, but they need help. It's not the same since Sally left.

I don't think Price Cutter has anything to do with the Starbucks employees or their training.  I think they are totally under the direct supervision and training of Starbucks.  Haven't been in awhile, I hope if they are doing bad, they pick up their act or they will be out of business.

Normally, I think you would be coorect, but in this case, I am sure there is a licensing agreement with Price Cutter. The employees are Price Cutter employees. That is why they do not get the Medical and Dental benefite that the Corporate Starbucks employees enjoy, to include their part time workers.

Actually, it is my understanding from the employees, that Price Cutters has everything to do with Starbucks in THEIR store.  That is why the Price Cutter Store did not take part in the Days of Giving promotion that Starbucks did-- like one day the red Travel Mug was on sale, one day if you bought the VIA multipack of instant coffee you would get a gift card and so on.  It is also why if you go ON POST to that starbucks and buy a mug it comes with a free coffee and each time you bring it back, you get a discount-- None of this happens at the Price Cutters Starbucks off post.

By the way, I am starting a new thread to talk about the On Post Starbucks Starbucks ( double word as they are not part of another store to my knowledge).

Oh - and at both locations- just because a drink is seasonal- they may be able to make it year round- just ask

I only came back one time since Sally left and the quality of the drink was bad and customer service was horrible.  I had been going there since it opened.  They were always friendly and asked how me and my family was.  I used to enjoy going there every morning - now I don't even bother.  They need to get Sally back before their business goes under.

I never have thought the service was good or that the people there were very friendly.  The young girls they have working there act like you are bothering them when you place an order.

Yes as of late it takes a good 15-20 minutes to get ONE coffee that is insane. (price cutter)  The last several times I've been in there I just left because I didn't want to wait.

Even though they are Price Cutter employees, they are held to the standards of both Starbucks and Price Cutters.  Starbucks corporate is involved with the day to day operations.  As such, I'm not sure why Denise is still there.  She is rude to the customers, and I have heard that several people will not return to the Starbucks at Price Cutters as long as she is employed there.

I have heard from several of the employees at Price Cutter that Sally left cause she had problems with the Starbucks side.  I could tell that Sally really liked her job.  They made a big mistake by letting Sally walk.  If they cant get Sally back they need to find a manager just as good - which will be very hard.

It was very disheartening when Sally told me she was resigning. She was the only reason I went to Starbucks at Price Cutter Plus. She always asked me how I was and remembered what drink I liked. Price Cutter Plus had been my main grocery store because it was convenient, but the past few months, even before Sally left, the customer service in the whole store was declining. I used to visit the bakery because Gisela and Ute were very friendly and always helped me when I forgot to order a cake. Now I go in and the bakery is closed when I get off work in the afternoon. What has happened to customer service?? It may be lost to some businesses, but is not forgotten to consumers.

This Starbucks sucks!!!!!!  I went back there cause I was told to give it a chance.  I went in the morning, and the service was HORRIBLE!!!! When I finally got my drink 30 minutes later, it tasted nasty!!!!  When I told the manager she just shrugged her shoulders!!!!! I thought Starbucks was known for their great service? There are 2 managers now instead of one, and I can't get a good cup of coffee?  I don't recommend this Starbucks at all!!!!!

I still go here a lot... WAY more than I should.... I never have a problem. If my drink doesn't taste right they re-make it.  Sometimes when they are training new people (seems to be a lot of the time anymore) things are running slower, but I've never stood in line for 30 minutes.  Of course, I wouldn't stand in line that long anyway; if the line has more than 3 people in it I just skip it for the day...

I miss Sally, like a lot of others do, but Sally didn't walk on water when she first took over.  It took her some time to get to the level she was at when she left, give the new manager a chance & I'm sure things will be back to "normal" before you know it.

I'm bad with names, but Denise works mornings with Angel, right?  Either way, I don't know any of them outside Starbucks, just chat with them for a few minutes every day while my coffee is being made...

I was in there Tuesday Morning and they had only ONE person working at 715 and I was shocked.  The line was backed up clear around the corner and the poor girl was working as fast as she could.  It took nearly 30 minutes for a cup of coffee...... If I hadn't already paid I would have left.

It's just coffee.  I make mine at home and it's really good.  Sometimes we stop by the one on Post and get an espresso because I got rid of my machine.
....and that night as the moon crossed the mountain, one more Coyote was heard...

I have not been to the Starbucks in Waynesville for almost 4 months, but I was desperately in need of a pick me up this morning, so I decided to go to Starbucks at Price Cutter. I was dumbfounded when I saw Sally working there again! The store manager must have finally gotten his head out of his rear end and smartened up. Now I will start making this my everyday stop on my way to work. Thank you Sally, you are awesome!
