Arrest Burglary Second
Pulaski County Sheriff J. B. King
May 20, 2011

On Sept. 3, 2009, Pulaski County Deputy Kimbly Elrod, investigated a burglary at a residence on Loyalty Lane near St. Robert, Missouri. A home was broken into and a number of items were stolen.

On May 18, 2011, Deputy Elrod received information as to the location of some of the items stolen from that residence. His investigation of the information received led to the application for a search warrant to recover the stolen items. The search warrant was granted by the court and members of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office executed the search warrant at the address of 14930 Turkey Lane, St. Robert, Missouri, the evening of May 19, 2011. A number of stolen items were recovered and the suspect was taken into custody.

The suspect was placed in the Pulaski County Jail on a 24-hour hold while a statement of probable cause was sent to the Pulaski County Prosecutor requesting charges for this incident. At this time we are waiting on the action of the prosecutor.

Up Date

On May 20, 2011, the prosecutor filed on one subject. Following a week of additional investigation the prosecutor filed charges on three more subjects on May 27, 2011. All four suspects had one count of burglary second degree, a class C felony, and one count of theft/stealing, a class C felony filed. The bond on each subject was set at $25,000 and all four subjects bonded out and were released from custody.

The persons charged were;
  Charles Douglas Malone, age 23, of 14930 Turkey Lane, St. Robert, Mo.
  • Justin A. Chadbourne, age 28, of 22301 Hermit Drive, St. Robert, Mo.
  • William E. Sweigard, age 34, of 22301 Hermit Drive, St. Robert, Mo.
  • Jennifer R. Rhyne, age 24, 31 Immel, Ft. Wood, Mo.
