News Release
Death Investigation
Pulaski County Sheriff J. B. King
Jan. 18, 2012

On Jan. 18, 2012, at approximately 1:34am the Pulaski County Sheriff’s office received a call from a concerned citizen requesting a check for the health and safety of their next door neighbor in a duplex apartment. According to the caller the neighbor had a motorcycle running inside his closed garage for over an hour. The reporting party stated there was a heavy smell of exhaust fumes in the duplex.

Deputies along with members of the Waynesville Rural Fire Department responded to the scene and found a closed garage with strong exhaust fumes present. They managed to pry up a window an inch or so and were able to see a subject slumped over inside the garage. They then forced an entry into the garage. The subject in the garage was rushed to the Ft. Wood Hospital and was pronounced dead at 2:45am.

The other occupants of the duplex were checked by medics due to a recorded high level of carbon monoxide in the air. The occupants of the adjoining apartment were determined to be in good condition and were not taken to a hospital.

The identity of the subject will not be released by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

Or he could have been working on it and started it up with the door closed.  It only takes a minute to pass out from exhaust fumes in an enclosed area.  After that it's fatal.
....and that night as the moon crossed the mountain, one more Coyote was heard...
