News Release
Arrest for Domestic Assault Second Degree
Pulaski County Sheriff J. B. King
Jan. 24, 2012

On Jan. 23, 2012, at approximately 4:27pm Pulaski County deputies were advised by the Pulaski County 911 Center of a domestic assault in progress at 13035 Harlow Lane, Dixon, Missouri. Upon arrival the deputy was met at the open door of the residence by an intoxicated male who told him there was nobody home and nobody had called for the police. The deputy could hear a person inside the residence crying. A minute later a female with a bloody face appeared in the background.

The deputy was forced to place the male on the ground in order to restrain him. The investigation at the scene revealed that the boyfriend/girlfriend had been arguing and the male subject had punched her in the face several times. The male was taken to the Pulaski County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold while a statement of probable cause was sent to the Pulaski County Prosecutor requesting charges for this incident.

At this time we are waiting on the response of the prosecutor.
