I have noticed in several cases that the arresting office is Waynesville or St. Robert Police Departments, for misdemeanor theft or stealing cases.   Why then are those cases being deferred to the PC Procecutors office?  Just Curious.

Usually they are people who are repeat offenders and they want them put on state probation instead of the probation in city court.
