  • nursejdavis: I am looking for a few Press Releases from Kevin Hillman that have disappeared.... not sure why they would be hidden from the public unless they contain narcs who have gotten their charges dropped for their cooperation. Seems the same Press Releases were also deleted from Facebook. Thanks for any help in locating these

  • Valor7: I could have worded that better, we talked details, options, the pros and cons of each, in  order to arrive at the best ballot language to present to the voters. Hope that makes this clearer.

Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

Did you know the constitution was written well over 200 years ago and they didnt have the same technology or culture.  The constitution isnt as cut and dry as you would want it to be, and is interpreted not understood when dealing with 21st century problems.  Precisly the reason Thomas Jefferson thought we should re write the constitution every so often to bring it up to date.

Maybe YOU like the idea of govt drones imposing themselves on your privacy.  I am not interested in their providing me any security while sacrificing my freedom.  And spying on us while we are in our homes are is the same as a warrantless search.  they are now in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act by utilizing federal troops to spy on us and "justify" searches by the military.  Isn't that nice?

And there are ways to AMEND the Constitution.  that was put in place too.  It is not ok to violate the document just becasue the prez says he can do what he wants.

Jefferson thought we should rewrite constitution every so often true but not for the reason of the government gaining more power over the people but the other way around.  Jefferson was kind of anti- government. He was for a civil war every so often as well. Several of us had said in the past that the patriot act was only the beginning.  I donít care who is in office they are not going to give up power that they been given.  Obama isnít going to give it up and neither will Romney is he wins.  Even if it starts out with good intentions they quickly can turn bad. Drones on America soil is a very bad idea. If they do say it unconstitutional they will just give to them to LE and spy on us that way.

Ok i heard today that the company that makes the drones are going to sell them to police departments as well as the military,  So if the police department uses them that that would throw your arguement of the govt using them out the window.

I have a stupid question....

What is the difference between using a drone to watch someone V.S. just using normal surveillance methods?

our founding father were all aginst powerfull government. that is what the civil war was about and the yankees won so here we are living with the mess that was created. the constituion isnt worth anything now days it dont stand for freedom it doesnt represent the feeling of the people it represent what big business wants it to. which of course is them making more money.every president in the last 100 years or more have been catering to the needs of a few , the richest and most powerfull.
