Hi all - well - its been a busy weekend, I went for a haircut and then an eye appointment and to pick out new glasses.  Family is building a bat house to attract bats.  How about you?

We are building it, Kristi.  We have this little book about Bats that has plans in the back.  Scrap wood and screening for them to grab a hold of is all that is needed.  I'll let you know if I see any bats living in it --  Mosquitoes and such are exactly why we are building it.

This book came from Scholastic - It is in the garage, or I would give you the title.  There are free plans on the internet though -- I did a search for Bat Houses on Dogpile.com and came up with the one below and more!

We try to spend what time we have together.
Family time is a hot commodity.
We are thankful for every minute.

I love it when probie comes home, even though I usually have 5 or 6  loads of laundry! lol We usually go out to eat or have a BBQ. We always had fun as a family and usually went some where every weekend when the boys were growing up. I really miss those days! Especially the camping trips. There is so many place in Missouri you can go to that does not cost you anything just gas and time.

Our family was hoping to go to the river today, but Mother Nature had other ideas.

I always envied your family cricket. You did spend and do alot of things with your boys! Alot of happy times as a family. You never worried about material things, what mattered most was spending time together.
