Obviously I'm talking about our LEAGAL RIGHT TO ASSEMBLE!  I don't make illegal "threats"! Storm: The English word comes from Proto-Germanic *sturmaz meaning "noise, tumult".

Freedom of assembly

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Freedom of assembly, sometimes used interchangeably with the freedom of association, is the individual right to come together and collectively express, promote, pursue and defend common interests.[1] The right to freedom of association is recognized as a human right, political right and civil liberty.

Freedom of assembly and freedom of association may be used to distinguish between the freedom to assemble in public places and the freedom of joining an association. Freedom of assembly is often used in the context of the right to protest, while freedom of association is used in the context of labor rights and the Constitution of the United States, is interpreted to mean both the freedom to assemble and the freedom to join an association.[2][not in citation given]

The United States Constitution explicitly provides for 'the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances'" in the First Amendment.

Everyone (even if this doesn't concern you directly) should take one moment and read ****http://media.trb.com/media/acrobat/2013-05/126919860-10085036.pdf***   you might get bored, but read it thoroughly.

please dont let those with the snarky attitudes, outright disinformation, and portrayal of people being crazy "conspiracy theorist", or even myself determine your opinion on this.....

IT CONCERNES EVERYONE!!

if the link doesn't work  go yo ky3 look in the middle of the article for the link to the lawsuit and the probable cause statement along with the original report by the WPD

then reread it just to be clear

Wouldn't it be more in tune with your job description to investigate the Waynesville P.D. rather than threaten a citizen who is asking for the TRUTH?
Noise:a.  A complaint or protest.

b.  Rumor; talk.

Just my opinion but, Its been three years and nothing has been done. I would say they need help! And I'm a grown man enough to admit that "storm" may have not been the best word to use in my post but, as I have stated many times now....I meant legal, peaceful assembly! I certainly would not do (or post on a public forum) anything illegal! I think public officials should be honest, forthright, upstanding citizens of this county or they should be voted out! This ole boy attitude has run its course. It sickens me that someone who is related or wears blue panties can get away with anything and those of us who strive everyday to make this county a better place to live in, can be railroaded and ostracized in the blink of an eye because we don't wear blue panties!

This case will be receiving national coverage. several in the legal field that have looked into this are floored, and think, without the  criminal case tried in federal courts, and the civil having a cbange of venue, exposure will help ensure unbiased proceedings.

I don't know any of you, it's clear "mark" is a main source of enjoyment to pick on, he seems to make it easy. It seems al the more reason to take the high road, not the school yard rout, in your bantor......   Hey, again not my town.... Just my opinion

Really, Gene you took storm as a threat?  I took it as protest especially after reading the post two down from that one, but then again Iím not on here defending Waynesville so I would have no need to be offended by it. All any of us know is what we have read and a few other things that WPD has done and had to apologize for, the motorcycle incident a while back comes to mind. Given all the news about corrupt cops a person can see why we would believe that the WPD is at fault, and until this cleared there will a certain amount of disbelief that the WPD is in the right. I think there must be something to it why would Sgt. Lawhead jeopardize his career?  If half the stuff is true it appears that this was not handle in a professional manner. This should get national coverage.

When was the criminal case filed that you reference?  And where?  When was the "cbange of venue" for the civil case you referenced filed? I seem to have missed those bits of news.

Also how do you know that, "several in the legal field that have looked into this are floored". This statement implies inside knowledge, maybe you could clear up some of the confusion on this web site by giving us some additional information.

Believe it or not many of us are interested in this case.
