Hope everyone in the community has had an opportunity to stop by the St. Robert Goodwill store lately.

What a beautiful store with lots of name brand clothing, household items and furniture. Its one of the cleanest Goodwill/thrift stores I've ever visited. They not only keep it clean and friendly, but merchandise it very well. GOODWILL NEEDS your donations of household items, used furniture (no rips, stains, structural damage), clothing for men/women/children.  Please support our local Goodwill and stop by to see this great store.
Its located in the Hidden Valley Shopping center. :) :) :)

Went by there today.   Everything looked like it was in good to excellent condition except for the electronics.   Fair to mid-high prices.

High prices compared to what? Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Big Lots, dumpsters?

You can take your clothes to Other Mothers and they will give you cash, then take the rest to charity, or, Other Mothers will take it there for you.

Some of their prices are a bit higher than other resale shops and such, but I think they have a better quality of clothes in general.  And you can find some great deals on brand new items as well.   :)

I went there and it was clean and organized but I thought the prices were high! I have been to goodwill stores in Kansas and Illinois with family and they are alot cheaper. You come out with alot of stuff in great condition and I have never spent over $20.00 when I have went. Some of the electronics in there I thought were really high when you can buy it new for a few dollars more and it is guarenteed. Hopefully they will lower prices, I know they have to pay employees and electric & etc but the stuff is donated. I like other mothers, I can take my stuff in and get credit or cash for it. come out better there.  #!><:""

I finally checked this place out. I was not impressed compared to other Goodwills I have been in. It was extremely hot in there too. I couldn't stay long.

I just recently bought a dress there for $10 for a military ball.  It's so pretty and looks almost brand new.  I also bought on at "Other Mother's for $5.  Just to have more than one to choose from.  I just don't see paying high prices for a dress that I'm only going to wear for 2-3 hours.  It was so worth it for me.  I'm wearing the one from the Goodwill store for this one coming up.  The other needs to many alterations, but I'll take care of that later. I just can't wait to wear it the night of the ball.

They donate to charity also, I think they only keep like .05 cents on every dollar they make. Also on the elctronics if you have any problem after taking them home you can bring it right back for exchange or credit not sure about refunds. I bought 2 brand new pairs of Timberland boots in the box for $12 each. They also get all the overflow from Target, so all of that is brand new!

We also got a pair of like new south pole jeans for our daughter for a $1. They have different deals every day. The day we were there a lady bought $85 dollars worth of $1 dollar items. You just have to read the dry erase board when you walk in for all the deals.

Yea I finally noticed that board last time I was there, they do have some pretty good daily specials.

I like the St. Robert Goodwill store and always stop in there when I'm in town.  The Goodwill in Jeff City is bigger so of course has more goodies in it.  The one in Rolla is smaller and tends to get too cluttered.
The individual stores don't set the regular prices on the items, or so they say.
