  • nursejdavis: I am looking for a few Press Releases from Kevin Hillman that have disappeared.... not sure why they would be hidden from the public unless they contain narcs who have gotten their charges dropped for their cooperation. Seems the same Press Releases were also deleted from Facebook. Thanks for any help in locating these

  • Valor7: Actually no it is not, a dependable Revenue stream will not come on line until the 4th quarter of 2017 so 2018 budget will be up in the air, not quite sure what they will have. By 2019 budget all will be well.

  • Valor7: I could have worded that better, we talked details, options, the pros and cons of each, in  order to arrive at the best ballot language to present to the voters. Hope that makes this clearer.

  • Valor7: sorry about the typos still working with just one arm in action

  • Valor7: Yes and no. We talked details and options until we were blue in the face but I never heardbring it over, it was always the time was not right for the issue to pass. Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

  • Lepard LLC: Gene Newkirk Rick I have waited for a Sheriff to bring it to me on what he wanted. I have pushed Mr long for a while to get it to me. He told me he was close to having or done. Now hopefully the people will get to decide on it. I spoke with Steve about this a few times.

Well we have an original cat, named Cat when he is in trouble and kitty when he is good.  A pekinese named Baxter (oh so fitting)  a rat terrier mix named Saki, a basset/heeler named JD....but gets called Doofus more often than not.  Our last heeler was a female and we named her Sheila ( Aussie for Female) and a min pin mix named Pompei(pom-pee)....for the greek word/god refering to the word pompous.

Recently added Zira. Her name was Zirra, but I dropped the R so it would spell "Ariz" backward (the old postal abbreviation for Arizona, my home state.)

Well, the "Beautiful Stray" is going to stay with us so I named him "Buddy" because when he was just a stray he followed my husband all over the yard as he did his chores.

We have kittens. Our almost 4 year old has named them: fireworks, trash-head, wheelbarrel and fishing pole. Her 3 month old puppy is Princess Aurora.

The latest addition is a "Chorkie" - Chiuhaha / Yorkie mix that we got for our grand nephews.  We let them ponder it for a day or two and they decided she looked alot like a peanut butter cup........she picked up on buttercup real well.

We have a cat the vet named Dumpling -- she was dumped on us -- We were not planning on keeping her - but it is hard to find a home for a 4 year old with teeth missing!

We have a friend with a cat named Left Over as it was left over when neighbors moved out.  (different state)

It's very funny how many people out there say they are not planning on keeping the poor left behind animals that they take in.We have not been keeping our cat for two months now. WE also have not advertised for another home for her and the chair, food and bowels at we got for her are also not staying because if you ask my husband, "She's not our cat and were not keeping her." The second the kids were naming her I knew she was staying.
