  • Valor7: Actually no it is not, a dependable Revenue stream will not come on line until the 4th quarter of 2017 so 2018 budget will be up in the air, not quite sure what they will have. By 2019 budget all will be well.

  • Valor7: Yes and no. We talked details and options until we were blue in the face but I never heardbring it over, it was always the time was not right for the issue to pass. Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

If they have a meat counter as they say they will that is good meat and reasonable then they may do ok.  They opened the C Store with gas at $2.89 and dropped it day before yesterday to $2.74.  I believe it is the lowest in the area.

Yeah, went there last night.  Their diesel was $3.19, I believe that is cheaper than others too.

Personally I can't wait for the Buckhorn Grocery to open.  I am about the same distances to either there or Price cutters.  I hate Price Cutters and will be happy to give business to someone else.  Especially a non chain related store.

I went by there today, talked to the manager and got some answers.
As previously posted, they will open tomorrow. Hours will be 6 am to 9 pm.
I plan to eat breakfast there tomorrow morning.

We ate breakfast there this morning, my wife had scrambled eggs, bacon, homefries, and toast.  Her sister had scrambled eggs, sausage, homefries, and toast.  I had a cheeseburger and fries.  Pretty standard fair.  Nothing was bad, but nothing was outstanding either.  Total for the bill was $17 and change.  For a very first day, it wasn't bad.  I'm sure things will improve with time.

Hamburgers for breakfast...yum.  We used to eat cold pizza for breakfast back in the 70's...because we were poor and see my brother worked in this pizza factory....so today I see in the health section that pizza for breakfast is actually good for you!  Way ahead of my time (lol)

Pizza for breakfast is the only thing I could keep down,  my first year of high school.  It has taken decades for me to be able to actually eat breakfast food (eggs) in the morning.
