If you have children who are gamers, you know how expensive video games are. You really should check out Mike's Game Shack. He is super friendly, and his prices are hard to beat. His store is located in Buckhorn across from the Shell gas station. :{:{:

We have done business with him since he opened, and before, when he was still at the other store.  He is super nice and always gives great deals.

He gave our son a gift basket of games, and a gift certificate today for his upcoming birthday.
He is a super nice guy. The world could use a few more like him.

Not sure but I bet he does.  He does also sell books and videos.  The store is 2 rooms.  1 is the gamer side and the other is more adult oriented.  Some place for mom or dad to go while child searches for the right game. We have out bath and body as part of the adult side. If I can remember I will check Thurs. and post back as I have a meeting with him.

He has also lead a very active life around the world.  He's not just a small town nerd.  He's been around.

His store is like a little museum.  Its a walk down memory lane for those of us who grew up with Atari and Nintendo's.  LOL.  He also has a lot of records and old toys from the 80's and 90's floating arond his shop.

Its a cool place all around I guess...  LOL.

My son just had a chance to go to Mike's a couple of weekends ago (after the Game Exchange thread confirmed that they are not open any longer).
And...HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES Mike's Game Shack!! He's 8 years old, but quite the little gamer. In the car, on the way home, he told me that he
likes Mike's better than Game Exchange. Too cool!

I have not had a need to go there myself. Others that I have talked to say it is great. The owners have been in my office and they seem really nice.

Mike has PS3 games when he can. They come in and are gone again. Just like the girlly DS games. He does have alot of PC games. If he does not have something that you want, he keeps an eye out for it. He also tries to repair systems. I go in there a lot, with and without the kids. He has great coffee, great books, and he loves to sit down and talk to you. Sometimes just watching him can make you so  :sleepy1a: sleepy.

He probably doesn't have many PS3 games because the PS3 bites a big one. All it's good for is the blu-ray player. Other than that, it is a massive dust collector. The games blow. Buy an Xbox 360. That's where it's at. Fable 2 in October. Gears of War 2 in November. Woot Woot.

My point was that the PS3 sucks. I was trying to start a fanboi argument.
