We have had pretty good luck with The Point.
Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

We went Wed. night.  It was the first time for me since I moved here but since we got our tax return we decided to splurge. Excellent food, great people.

My other half says the all you can eat Catfish on Fridays is great too.

Had the "all you can eat" catfish on Friday...was EXCELLENT!!  There was so much on the initial plate, we couldn't eat all of it.  The tarter sauce has dill in it and I can't wait to try that at home...very tasty.  As was the hush puppies and coleslaw.  The only problem was finding a place to park.  The place was packed.  I recommend it to everyone.
....and that night as the moon crossed the mountain, one more Coyote was heard...

I guess we'd better arrive early -- before they run out of food and parking spaces.

The Point used to have binoculars that you could look out over the valley.  I didn't see them last week...maybe bring your own.  There are a pair of eagles on the big Piney on J near the M intersection.  Anyway there were.  Haven't seen them all winter.  Maybe they flew South, I don't know much about them.

Does anyone know the price of the All-You-Can-Eat Catfish and All-You-Can-Eat Crab legs/Shrimp. On Sat. do you get Shrimp AND Crab legs or do you have to choose only one?

Believe it was $24.95 per adult, your choice both at once or one at a time. Includes potato, salad . Crab legs are BAKED according to the owner not boiled. I loved them and I usually do not eat the crab legs.

I have eaten here several times with my family and then on prom a couple years ago. The service was slow and one of the ladies there that checked us out was just plain rude. I ordered surf and turf and they didnt have any shrimp. It took us almost 2 hours to get all of our food, and the place wasn't even that crowded.

I was not impressed with their food either.  The service was rather slow and the food was not worth the price.  I would rather just wait until Outback opens up because I know the food is better than the Point.

Drive to downtown Lebanon & eat a steak at Madison Street Grill. You'll never order a steak anywhere else again. Nothing else even comes close.

I do wish The Point would do something about parking - it is sometimes next to impossible to find your way back out of the lot.

I also understand they are in some trouble with DNR over monitoring their water supply.

We went on Saturday evening for the first time in a long time as we don't like that ride out 28 but.......
The staff was wonderful, and our waitress, Nora, was one of the best we have had in this area.  She was attentive and observant - even bringing a baby spoon out to make desert easier for our youngest.  Our Steaks and Catfish were very tasty and moist and cooked the way we ordered them.  All in all it was a very pleasant evening - the only thing that would have made it better is to see Eagles out the window instead of the vulturs -- but hey -- they have to fly too!

No they no longer have the super special and do not believe the owner of the place who still blames me singlehanded for closing out the shrimp and crab leg special. Something about lack of profit. If you know owner Bob well then you know he does stretch the word at times. In this case at least a little pull on the facts. Maybe even a very small stretch on the truth.... well maybe it was true.
