  • Valor7: Actually no it is not, a dependable Revenue stream will not come on line until the 4th quarter of 2017 so 2018 budget will be up in the air, not quite sure what they will have. By 2019 budget all will be well.

  • Valor7: Yes and no. We talked details and options until we were blue in the face but I never heardbring it over, it was always the time was not right for the issue to pass. Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

Field trip, good idea, only a few parents should go with the class, that way the parents know how kids are sometimes treated

Well, after Waynesville, show them the St. Robert City Hall, more room to run and play, and the employees there aren't much nicer.
I have it on good authority that the Hokey-Pokey really IS what it's all about.

I pay my bill inside every  month - and have for years and years. I have never found any of them to be the least bit rude.  I have heard the same comments about the employees at the License bureau - and have never found them to be rude, either. To the contrary, the employees at both locations have always been friendly and helpful. But, I go in with a smile on my face and a friendly "Hi" or "How are you today?" Sometimes it is all in how you approach.

I agree.  I usually go in every month to pay my bill and usually both ladies are nice, not overly friendly.... but nice.  I agree with Hannahsmom though and I usually approach them with a "hi" or "how are you".  Personally, I couldn't work there because I'd probably be "rude" to if I had to put up with some of the adults and kids that come in there.  At 5, there's no way I would of let my twins stand out by the pay phone by themselves.  And at 5 my kids are pretty well behaved kids.  The situation could of been avoided if the child would of been next to his mother...where he should of been in the first place.

Ive paid my utility bills inside City Hall for a long time, which at once meant a newborn , a toddler, and a 5 y/o, and I was always treated with respect, even when I wrote the check out for the wrong amount for my taxes and wanted to pull my hair out. These ladies probably thought not so nice things when I pulled up, but they were never anyting but helpful to me, and PATIENT.  I now have teenagers and a tween, and am still relatively disorganized and frazzled when I'm running errands..however, Ive learned a few things. ~ My checks are written out in advance. ~When I know its going to take a few minutes to fill out a form, I call ahead and ask if I can just pick it up, take it home, complete it, call if I have any questions, and drop it back off. ~My children are my responsibility, in good times and in bad. And if they are out of my reach, they are at risk.~Always assume the guilty or dumbfounded role, and "kill 'em kindness."~I am the customer, and I am not ALWAYS right. Devil's advocate - what if the lady jsut had a bad feeling about a child hitting/tapping/slapping the glass, what if the thoughts of that little hand going thru shards of glass made her cringe. I'm sure the parent of that little hand would be a little rude in getting medical bills paid.
