  • Valor7: Actually no it is not, a dependable Revenue stream will not come on line until the 4th quarter of 2017 so 2018 budget will be up in the air, not quite sure what they will have. By 2019 budget all will be well.

  • Valor7: I could have worded that better, we talked details, options, the pros and cons of each, in  order to arrive at the best ballot language to present to the voters. Hope that makes this clearer.

  • Valor7: Yes and no. We talked details and options until we were blue in the face but I never heardbring it over, it was always the time was not right for the issue to pass. Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

Folks get down to the County Fair in St. Robert Park today.. They got beat up with rain yesterday and it hurt their traffic bad, yet it didn't rain during fair hours and the insurance didn't pay off.. We all have to support big events like these or they could go away. Today is Motocross racing and freestyle motocross.. Freeestyle is the event where they jump from high ramps, sailing through the air..

See you at the fair today..

We were there last night. The kids had fun. We stopped by the Republican and Democrat booths, but they must have cut out early.
Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

We had a good time at the fair this year.  There were more rides, I thought than in previous years, and the armband for $10 for the rides was great.  The rodeo seemed to be a great draw as well.  I hope in the end that the fair was successful.  I know we enjoyed it!

Yeah, the fair was a blast.  While I didn't think the prices were bad at all, I did hear that the prices were high enough on the rides wristband that only the more affluent parents brought the family.
